When I inquired about the delivery date a few days later, I was informed the same day about the status of the procedure. A few days later, I received confirmation from the carrier that the goods were ready for shipment and after choosing my delivery date, they were delivered correctly and on time. Trusty company

I strongly advise against purchasing from this website.
I bought a bike with too many issues (the motor was faulty and the rim tape on the front and rear wheels was in such poor condition that I got two punctures in just 51 km). Due to the poor quality, I decided to return it, but Statera refused to give me a full refund because I had ridden it for 51 km.
I tried to explain that I couldn't have seen the problem with the rim tape without using the bike, but they wouldn't listen and they don't have a mediation service (or they refused to give me access to it).
I've wasted too much time and money because Statera. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Everything worked as described, great experience and the bike was delivered fully functional. I have since been riding a few thousand kilometers on it and couldnt be happier. Statera bikes was recommend to me and I would recommend them anyday.

Take care with them: They don’t know the UE taxes laws and if you’re buying from outside Germany in their different webs, you’re going to have problems with them.
And although you explain the UE taxes laws (and send the law they have to apply), the customer service is not going to correct their ignorance, provoking you a financial damage that can be considered scam because they refuse to refund German taxes charged in your online purchase although you send all custom border documentation.
Ignorance and haughtiness is not a good thing to put together in a business.

Ordered a Santa Cruz 5010 and received something else (e-road bike) Bad/lack of communication with their customers service.
Managed finally to get the correct bike after a long while which was badly assembled ( torque specs,... disk brake noise,... )
Bike shop sent me bike with worse specs and refused to solve it. Be carefull if you will buy something there.
If you have a problem with your order you will be given the runaround and no information. Ordered a bike 4 weeks ago, was sent the wrong bike. Notified statera by email and phone that I received the wrong bike. 3 weeks later after a dozen emails and calls I have no information if the replacement bike is even in progress. If you’re lucky enough to get a hold of a human in a three hours that their telephone lines are open from nine till noon. They will collect your information and promise you to call back. But no one will usually call back. When they do call back, they have no information about your order except for what’s showing on the website which just shows in progress. Or order closed. The emails are ignored. Their phone calls are ignored 80% of the time. When they say they will follow up and give you information. The information doesn’t come. I’m so frustrated. I don’t know what else to do. So that’s why I’m writing this with you next step. We have to be a letter to the managing director. I guess. I’m out of options.
Follow-up:
The bike was eventually shipped on May 23rd. Eventually one person from the company handled the case albeit 6 weeks late. No compensation for poor experience was offered. Good news the bike arrived and was well assembled.
Well, I can't help but say the truth, my experience has been from beginning to end, awful, and still is.
They sent the bike i bought through DHL, but up to this date I still have not received any e-mail informing me of that. According to their FAQs, they call the customer to set a delivery date, that of course NEVER happened. Then DHL decided to give it to a neighbour without calling me or asking for my allowance, when they could't have known if I know my neighbour, if we are friendly, or if he could've literally sell it further as he found himself with a 1000€ bike at the door fully paid.
But if only were that... The bike is beautiful and it is smooth to ride, but they send it completely unbuilt, even though in their website it says for that brand it is fully prepared to only put the pedals and move the direction. Well, after figuring out how to put it together, ran some tests, and the gears are not working properly!! The last two discs cannot take the chain up through the hydraulic arm because literally they hit witht he dents, and I had to bring the bike to a store to fix it.
Now I have paid extra for a service they claim is priorly done, and also to check that nothing has further been missed since the montage has been done by a simple customer amateur in the field.
I definitely won't buy anything from them again.
