I appreciate they are migrating but I’ve had a problem with syncing SSL certificates for a month now and just cannot get support. They used to be excellent with support but it’s very frustrating not getting answers or help.

Avoid

I have just removed my charity's domain and services from TSOhost. When I first set this service up a few years ago they were prompt and very helpful and much more efficient and engaged than other hosting providers (I have had bad experiences with 123-Reg, for example). However, in the past year or so they have been increasingly difficult to do business with. The chat line is not fit for purpose - the waiting times increase every time you look - and support tickets go unanswered for weeks. The final meanness was that they had 'discussed a refund with the line manager' and decided against it. They are about to be swallowed up in 123-Reg which is owned by GoDaddy - I rang the offered helpline when I was informed of this move, and was confidently told by someone in Nevada that the service I was paying about £50 for would now cost about £7000. Losing your place with your decimal points is not a good advertisement. Glad to be gone.

SHAMEFUL SERVICE

Oh dear oh dear. TSOHOST has been bought by an outfit called 123-reg.co.uk who are as helpful (not) to TSO customers as a flat tyre. Additionally TSO is not picking up new tickets over 2 days and their Chat doesn't work. Currently have no access to any TSO products and no way of contacting them. What a shame for a once perfect customer service company to end like this. Looks like we will need to take them to Court.

TSOHOST had always been a good company

TSOHOST had always been a good company, they had a good customer service and were helpful, they were taken over by 123REG very recently , I tried for some simple customer assistance, the new customer service team from 123REG was in place and effectively told me to contact a Developer, so I decided to switch the domain away, I asked for a transfer on the 16/9/24 and have now learnt that nothing has been done, they are a walking disaster, keep away if you are thinking of using their services

I became a loyal customer in 2013 when TSOhost operated as an independent provider. Their service was excellent. I’m sorry to say that since they were purchased by GoDaddy (via Host Group Europe, formerly Pipex) in the last few years the service has become a liability for my customers. Services, products and systems have been upgraded, migrated and at worst removed. When I have raised support tickets to resolve issues it has taken two weeks two get an initial response, and even then I have been upsold new products. I have now migrated all my customers away from TSOhost and sadly will be closing my account. I can’t speak for new accounts but many existing customers have had the same issues.

Appalling company

They used to be such a good company, now their customer service is absolutely appalling. They aren't taking new customers on thankfully. If they were I would say avoid at all costs. The worst tech company I've ever come across.

I am having similar experience to Andy Machin and having difficulty getting them to delete my account and data held.
I have tried several times to close my account as my domains and services were moved away to another more reliable provider. I have asked them to not move my details to 123reg as I will not be dealing with them,
However despite tickets that take 2 weeks to answer nothing has happened other than telling me to re do the delete procedure again that just takes you back to where you started.
Tsohost are just a bunch of time wasters and glad I moved away a few months ago to a more reliable service provider with good support including able to phone and speak to tech support etc.
Avoid Tsohost and find a better provider is my advice.

Basic account functionality not working?

Long time TSO customer going back years from when they were reliable with responsive support including telephone. However with the degredation in service my loyalty and patience ran out a few months ago and I moved everything away to another, far better, host.

At the start of this month I receive email from TSO re the migration to 123-reg. I raised a ticket asking for them not to migrate me. No point if I have no active TSO services.......also I have an account with 123-reg for some domain names. The email address for my 123-reg is different to the email address I use for TSO and despite TSO seeming to indicate there'll be no confusion I have my doubts.

This morning - two weeks later - I receive a reply to the ticket. Explains how to request deletion of my data.

I follow the steps given and hit the link in the confirmation email That's supposed to let me log in again (it did) then I'll be promoted to confirm and all I have to do is click yes.

Hmmmm - there is no prompt after clicking confirmation email and logging in again. I've tried multiple times stuck in the same loop.

Never had a problem for years but then…

Never had a problem for years but then all emails, across 5 different email accounts, all stopped working last Friday. Couldn't send emails as the TSOHost server wouldn't respond and emails sent to us were being bounced back as undelivered.

I raised a support ticket which wasn't answered all Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Emails started working again on Sunday but stopped again on Monday morning.
I spent all day Monday and Tuesday on web chat tech support but TSOHost just kept telling me it is an email client problems "because webmail works" and they cannot help me.

Running 2 businesses with no emails for 5 days is not an options so out of desperation I changed hosts to Ionos and I haven't looked back. Ionos are brilliant compared to the shower that TSOHost is.

Just to rub it in my support ticket gets looked at 5 days after I raised it but they say they cannot help as the mail exchange settings are pointing at another host. I had just changed the domains to Ionos just 1 hour earlier but now TSOhost pretend they want to help.

Glad I got out before the Reg123 migration as it will only get worse.

Needs publicly investigating…

TSO Hosting billed us all - right up to the last minute - then baled out of the plane before it hit the ground. It seems everyone on here's reporting paid-for SSL certificates that didn't make it onto their website address, leading to an epidemic of "insecure" (sic) warnings when customers try & view it or make a purchase. Lost sales everywhere, sites left to die or inaccessible, but spurious identikit positive reviews of the service proliferate. And 123 say can't even attempt any sort of fix until post 1st October...

Everything deleted after 11 years as a customer

Hosted with TSO host for 11 years (began when they were Vidahost). At the end of August while I was on holiday I was told “we can’t migrate your website after all”. Within a week all my emails, website, online shop etc were all down. No live chat enabled, no response from support emails. Finally someone replied after about 10 emails, and basically said they couldn’t help me. I’d paid 6-7k GBP to this company over my lifetime. They just destroyed my online business. From what I can tell 123 Reg is even worse - although they’re effectively the same company.

my websites and emails have had many problems

my websites and emails have been hosted by this company for 3 years. there have been a lot of problems during this period, the latest of which is my emails aren't being delivered. I raised this on several occasions but it still hasn't been resolved. It is costing my business money and I should have stopped using this poor service a long time ago, this is the final straw.

TSOHost just terminated my club's hosting account with 2 weeks notice.
They did not respond to any support tickets.
Support chat was disabled.
Cut me off when I called telephone support at 123.reg.
Said they were going to migrate the service to 123.reg, then failed to migrate it without any explanation.
Appalling service.

Trying to stay patient here

Trying to stay patient here but this migration is a shambles, they've closed the hosting account while the domains are still pointing to it meaning every site now displays a big SUSPENDED message and I have no option to create any alternative hosting, no timescale of when any new 123 Reg panel will be available, no idea of whether transferring it off is an option in the timescales or whether they're even going to end up with 123 Reg. Considering they've billed me and its all paid up its a complete mess, very poor.

I can't login

I can't login. My details are no longer recognised and password reset sends nothing to my nominated email address.

Also, my web site does not load, and the SSL certificate has been cancelled.

And, I cannot log in to raise a new ticket. So I am stuck in a loop of going nowhere. I've tried to email info[at]tsohost.net as well as privacy[at]tsohost.com and of course never had any replies.

Avoid this company. There seems to be a reason it's had three or four different owners trying to make a business out of it, as it's now in the hands of 123 reg.

Used to be great - But then 123Reg bought it :-(

tsohost used to be a really good hosting company. Now tsohost is going to be absorbed into 123Reg and will shortly no longer exist. I'd moved my domains away from 123Reg to tsohost after 123Reg got taken over by GoDaddy and turned from a great company into a kind of zombie apocalypse hell hole - good at nothing except gaming Trustpilot with reviews saying things like "Razvan Gabriel was very quick to help and sorted everything out. 10/10", etc. Hint: look at the 1-star reviews - you'll see that they are much more detailed and tell a grim, but accurate, story.
The GoDaddy money guys have figured out if you double the prices, cut all the support and 25% of the customer base leaves you are still vastly more profitable.
Don't be a 123Reg/GoDaddy victim - Avoid like the plague. There are better alternatives (krystal, mythic-beasts, UK2). And if you are using tsohost now, run away while you still can - I just have.

Rubbish

A pointless review given tsoHost will no longer exist soon, but it seems they're trying to fleece money from customers before the migration to 123reg.

Earlier this year an email said "We're emailing to let you know that we will be upgrading tsoHost cPanel-based web hosting accounts to our new and improved cPanel Web Hosting Platform" - I didn't see anything about AutoSSL being deactivated on this so-called "new and improved" platform, yet my certificate was expired for a week before I realised (because I was receiving no email), and it no longer auto-renews.

tsoHost support has been poor for years, but this month I've had no response from support tickets in over a week, and when I finally got onto live chat, I was told I'd have to pay £45 for tsoHost to install an updated certificate. It's a rip-off given the migration to 123reg is due to happen soon. Answers from tsoHost live chat support were vague and possibly untrue - apparently I should've received an email about changes, but all the email about the original "upgrade" said was to update SMTP settings - nothing about AutoSSL stopping.
