DanPen Bag review from BR: Poor Quality. short live

We have purchased a school Bag for our 8 year old son on End of July from BR for the new academic year 2025. The bag is from danPen (Ergonomics). In November we have noticed that the bag was torn inside and the plastic connectors were damaged and broken. We took the bag to the BR and showed them that, it is such a poor quality and not worth for the money paid(I wish, I could upload the pictures here), we thought BR is trustworthy and sell standard and quality products. However we were disappointed at the shop and the head of the shop said we are very unlucky one to get such a piece !! and we cannot return it since we missed the receipt. Who would know that this product lasts only three months and go into pieces in three months it is a school bag it should retain a minimal level of quality. I had even had a reference number in my bank statement for the purchase but they asked me to take it back. We were upset because we thought it will go for at least an year. So please watch out when you purchase DanPen from BR next time. My son loved his school bag and he selected it directly from BR store. How to crash a kids dream BR - way to go!

Tak for din anmeldelse.

Det er korrekt, at  vores leveringstider var forlænget i december. Det skyldtes, at vores skønne gæster bestilte en masse gaver hjem, og at der derfor var fuld fart på BR fabrikken og ikke mindst vores lager, hvor alle varer bliver pakket. 

Selvom vores skarpe og hurtige legekammerater havde taget deres bedste løbesko på, så er de kun mennesker, og den store mængde ordrer der kom ind betød desværre, at der var lidt længere leveringstider end normalt. 

Vi forsøger selvfølgelig at få alle pakker afsted så hurtigt, som vi overhovedet kan, og leveringstiderne vil derfor typisk også variere henover december måned.

Vores bedste råd er at tjekke den forventede leveringsdato, når varerne er lagt i kurven, så man er klar over, hvad man kan forvente.

Vi håber, de seje nye sager giver anledning til en masse sjov og spas.

Super long delivery time

Unpleasant

We visited BR Gentofte today to make Christmas wish lists for our kids, and most of the employees were extremely kind and helpful. We really appreciated the friendly service and the Christmas atmosphere in the store.

However, when I went to pay for a few small items, I had an uncomfortable experience. I was standing at the counter ready to pay when the cashier told me “no” and instead called another customer over from the other side of the counter, even though I was already waiting. I am really restraining my self to write her name. But I would really like to mention it to the manager as would prefer not to be as public as here.

I don’t know why this happened, but it made me feel unwelcome. We had planned to return in December to buy more gifts, and this moment honestly left a bad feeling.

Sloppy

First their ordering was slightly confusing leading my to take out most of the ordered items and order them directly from Lego.

Then I got a damaged, completely scratched package which nobody would have taken out of the shelf. I will return the package if I manage to in time.

At least they were fast.

Good customer service

BR are really good to resolve things. I almost gave 4 stats because there was a dispute on an expensive paw patrol toy that was under the 2 year warranty which broke in a very essential part that made it unique. The supplier does not have spare parts which is a shame because some parts are quite fragile. BR did resolve it but caution to those who purchase any paw patrol toys.

Bad service

I was at BR at Frederiksberg Center today 13/02-25 at around noon, and I went up to the young woman behind the register and asked for the pricing on a particular item. She rolled her eyes at me before she scanned it and told me. Extremely bad service.
