Unprofessional and Careless
I visited the clinic (Ny Vestergade 1) in August for a consultation regarding permanent hair removal. During the visit, we agreed on a treatment plan. I was asked to download their app and select a date to begin the treatment.
However, when I showed up for my very first session - 23/9/25- I was told I had no appointment booked and that my profile wasn’t even available in their system. This was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. After investing time and energy into the consultation and being drawn in by a promotional offer, I was essentially forgotten and never followed up with.
This experience felt unprofessional and careless. I expected better communication and reliability, especially after committing to a treatment plan. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend them based on this experience

I booked an appointment 1 month before and I was just cancelled like 30 mins before my appointment and they could say only sorry. Not just other times that they changed nurses/times without asking first.
Really irresponsible.

The treatment includes cosmetic products of high quality, and their composition and benefits are explained while the nurse apply them gently in your face. My skin was glowing after the treatment and remains healthy and soft several days after my appointment. 100% recommended!

Safe for trans women, 5/5 professionalism.
I came to Cosmo for laser hair removal as a trans woman, and I've come to trust the office in Aarhus. I feel safe, respected, and well taken care of, and can warmly recommend them to anyone else in a similar situation.
There was a small snag with pronouns at the start, they apologized profusely, hasn't been an issue since. I've been taken care of well, and all my concerns have been professionally addressed.
They're also flexible with their arrangements and offerings, at least in Jylland.
Top points to technician Camilla S in Aarhus especially.
The treatment works, and they're open and clear about its limitations, and they don't try to book me with stuff I won't benefit from. They also re-evaluate my needs on an ongoing basis as the treatment progresses, I feel my care is personalized enough. They even help me select the most sensible combinations of any current offers I might be interested in, to help make sure I don't use more money than makes sense.
My ONLY quibble is that they use the same email address for BOTH booking confirmations and marketing, which means I can't neatly sort the two apart without setting up inbox rules, which isn't very user friendly. Since the newsletter is very frequent, I think most users would appreciate it coming from a different address.
There's been some minor hiccups, but the Aarhus office has done a decent job correcting or compensating for them.

Unreliable Scheduling and Disappointing Results
I started my laser treatment at this clinic in January 2024, and I’m still undergoing sessions. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen the promised results.
Beyond that, I’ve had multiple frustrating experiences throughout my treatment. Despite booking appointments months in advance to fit my work schedule, the clinic constantly reschedules them—often just a day before. I work and have meetings, and I can’t rearrange my entire workday on such short notice just because they decide to change my appointment. The worst case was when they canceled my session only 30 minutes before, while I was already on my way there.
Another major issue is the high staff turnover. It seems like there’s always a new nurse, which doesn’t inspire confidence in the consistency of the treatments. One session that normally takes 25 minutes was rushed through in just 10 minutes, making me question the quality of the service. It feels like every visit comes with some kind of issue—whether it’s last-minute cancellations, new staff, or rushed treatments—when all I really want is a smooth and hassle-free experience.
Honestly, I wouldn’t return for any future treatments. I feel like I’ve wasted my money, and I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to others. I hope this review helps those considering it.

We understand that our clients have busy schedules, and we are working hard to minimize these disruptions. However, as we were in a peak season for illnesses, we sometimes face unexpected staff shortages, which unfortunately can lead to sudden appointment changes. That being said, I agree that a 30-minute cancellation is completely unacceptable, and I will personally look into what went wrong in your case.
Regarding the high staff turnover, I can assure you that our team is made up of dedicated and skilled professionals, but I understand how a lack of continuity can feel unsettling, especially when undergoing a long-term treatment plan. I will also address your concern about the shortened treatment session, as this is not the experience we want to offer our clients.

Tattoo removal
I have started the process to get a tattoo reemoved at Cosmo and the day before my second session they cancel it, saying that they wouldn't offer that treatment anymore. I think everyone knows how little does just one session (the one I managed to get) but still I didn't get any money back. I think this is super unprofessional and superficial.
