If there is zero star i would give them none. The delivery guy didnt even try to call or text. My phone was on ringer the entire time and he never tried to contact to deliver. He just decided to pretend he called then went back and have my package stay in their facility for the next 4 days. I told them to deliver on the 12 and they decided that they WILL deliver the 13th according to the automated system. I called the CS and the personnel is not listening. I told her the signature is not the point, when I say I want it deliver on a certain date you should do it because I have other reasons why. They gave option of dates to deliver and when you choose they still don't deliver.
I asked my merchandise provider to stop using DHL.
It is a really bad service, bad customer service.

Insanely incompetent company
Insanely incompetent company. When ordering anything from overseas, I always request that sellers do NOT ship with DHL and instead use a different courier. I’ve had far too many issues with DHL over the years, and my most recent experience was the final straw.
I run a home-based business and was expecting a shipment for a client. The package was scheduled to arrive several days before her appointment, but due to DHL’s unbelievable incompetence, the shipment was delayed multiple times and I ultimately had to reschedule my client.
On the expected delivery day, the package showed as out for delivery. I waited all day and it never arrived. Late that evening, the tracking updated to say delivery failed due to an issue with my address and that I needed to correct it. I checked my address and everything was correct, so I contacted customer service.
The agent told me the delivery failed because DHL did not have my buzzer code. I do NOT have a buzzer code. I live in a townhome-style condo where each unit has its own exterior front door. There is no lobby, no shared entrance, and no buzzer system. The driver would have known this if he had actually shown up at the address. It strongly appears the driver saw a unit number, assumed there must be a buzzer, and didn’t even attempt delivery.
This style of condo is EXTREMELY common in my province. In fact, most condos in my city are built this way. I explained this to the agent, who then asked, “Then how is the driver supposed to deliver your package?” I explained that the driver simply needs to get out of the vehicle, walk up to my front door, and ring the doorbell. The agent seemed confused and argued that if I have a unit number, I must have a buzzer code. I again explained that I do not live in a high-rise building. Eventually, the agent said a note was added and assured me the package would be delivered the next day.
The next day, the package again showed out for delivery. Once again, it never arrived. That evening, tracking once again stated delivery failed due to incomplete address details. I contacted customer service again and was told the same thing: they didn’t have my buzzer code. I had to explain the entire situation all over again. I was told another note was added and that delivery would happen the following day.
The following day, the exact same thing happened. The package went out for delivery, never arrived, and tracking again showed delivery failed due to incomplete address information. I had to again contact customer service, and was again told that they needed my buzzer number. At this point I had had enough and I asked to speak with a supervisor. Since the supervisor could not call me until the next morning, I had no choice but to contact my client and reschedule her appointment.
When the supervisor finally called, I explained that this was now the fourth person I had spoken to and that I was beyond frustrated. He pulled up the file and immediately said they needed my buzzer code. I had literally just explained everything to him. When I firmly told him there is NO buzzer code, he asked, “Then how is the driver supposed to access your unit?” I replied that the driver needs to get out of the truck, walk about 10 feet to my front door, and ring the doorbell. He would understand this if he actually showed up at the address.
The supervisor finally seemed to understand, said he would add a note (which I pointed out I had already been told multiple times), and promised delivery the following day. Thankfully, it was finally delivered.
This entire experience was absolutely ridiculous. The level of incompetence, lack of basic problem-solving, and apparent unwillingness to actually attempt delivery is shocking. DHL is careless, unreliable, and completely unfit to handle time-sensitive shipments. I will continue to avoid this company whenever possible.
They keep sending me emails to pay…
They keep sending me emails to pay taxes on my package. It’s a legit email because they have my full name, address, tracking number. But when I try to pay their website doesn’t work. When I tap the province button it doesn’t open despite several tries. They’ve emailed me 3 times with the same email despite explaining to them the issue. Not a very organized company.

HORRENDOUS! DHL outright lied about delivering my parcel. I was home and there was a layer of fresh snow on the path and steps from the day before lol. No one has been to the door and I was home the whole time. Customer service doesn't exist. DHL YOU SUCK! DONT EVER USE THIS PONY EXPRESS OUTFIT. THEY'RE DISHONEST WITH NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I have a delivery that I've been waiting to have 3 attempted redeliveries. The first failed time, I received a notification that my street address was not valid. When I contacted to update it, they had the correct address. I don't live in a remote area, I live in west end Toronto. The second time, I received a notification that a signature was required. I was working from home the whole day and did not leave. AT NOT POINT DID THE DRIVE ATTEMPT TO DELIVER TO ME AS I WAS HOME TO HEAR THE DOOR KNOCK, which it NEVER KNOCKED OTHER WISE I'D HAVE SIGNED FOR MY DELIVERY. ALSO NOTE: I FILLED OUT THE INFORMATION TO INDICATE THAT THE SIGNATURE WAS NOT REQUIRED. YET YOU STILL WENT ABOUT YOUR STUPID PROCESS AS IF YOU NEEDED ONE. I DON'T FOR A SECOND THINK THAT YOUR LAZY DRIVER GOT OUT OF THEIR TRUCK TO DELIVER. For the third time, I wonder what the excuse will be? You need to do better, in a service industry that is competitive, you need to do so very much better to ensure you keep your customers.

This is my first time dealing with DHL, and first thing they ask me to pay $128.57 for import charges. For items such as mous phone case and backpack which a lot of money by its self, and this is absolutely ridiculous. I do not agree with this at all, I am already pay $20 for shipping to be fast and now i have to pay another $128 on top of that, if you are wanting a deliver i WOULD not recommend DHL due to their overprice pricing.
Great service -- infinitely better than UPS or FedEx
My wife and I place several orders from European companies and always choose DHL rather than FedEx or UPS to deliver them. The cost is a bit higher but DHL's customer service responds to inquiries very quickly whenever I have a question. More importantly, our packages typically arrive a couple days ahead of the expected delivery date or, on the delivery date. The local DHL driver always knocks on the door when he delivers our packages. I have no complaints whatsoever.

A super costly international disaster. I entrusted a 100 year old musical instrument to them to deliver to a restorer in S. Africa. Through all kinds of excuses and miscommunications, the penalties and extra costs associated with their mishandling of this ended with such excessive and unconscionable costs that I finally refused to pay and directed that they destroy this historic instrument.

I recommend using anyone BUT them

Shipping is incredibly slow. The item bought on Ebay en-route to Canada hasn’t left Illinois, US for 16 days and has been moving from hub to hub within the state. It is also impossible to self-clear taxes and customs with them, they are simply pirate their rate this way their feed plus tax account for 45% of the item cost instead of just 13%.
Absolutely unacceptable service
Absolutely unacceptable service. DHL falsely claimed a delivery attempt while I was at home all day, then sent a pickup code that didn’t work and showed the parcel as already collected. I never collected it. The delivery “proof” photo was useless and blurry. Customer service was contacted repeatedly and achieved nothing. Zero accountability for a high-value parcel. Completely unreliable.
I spoke with manager called PETER AMONIA who didn't help me and didn't understand that I need MY parcel now. He hang up on me like his colleagues.
They said on the last call that I need to wait for parcel to expire and return to sender
Extremely Slow delivery times
12 days of delivery service and I still have not received my parcel! It had multiple stops where the item had no movement for multiple days at a time. No eta either, customer service doesnt care!

Horrible service. Never know when i will get my parcel. There is not any understandable tracking problem nor do the customer service provider know anything about it. Although it was speed post but don't know when I will get it.

What an absolute waste of time
What an absolute waste of time. DHL employee "tried" to deliver the parcel, but did not even bother to buzz or call. A second delivery attempt has not been made, and I had to create a ticket to resolve the issue. Parcel delivery is still pending after 3 extra days of wait...

I have been waiting on a parcel from the USA .After almost a month I got a message that my parcel had cleared customs next I got a message delivered.
Well I never received my parcel and I haven't received any response from my emails to DHL yet.
