Ebay have advised that a product listed as a glucose monitor that cannot measure Glucose does not contravene EBay policy. The product seller has advised despite its description it does not measure Glucose. Apparently EBay are happy for product descriptions to be blatantly untrue. Now we all know EBay is not a safe reliable trading place

I made a £30 purchase via ebay, but seller failed to supply info for collection and went silect. ebay let him get away with it. I lost £30 and all I got back from ebay was ' Too late to cancel ' and no assistance what so ever. Will never use or recommend ebay again.

I have just beeb told my account which I hadn't used in years is blocked when they sent me an email informing me an item I had for sale had been sold. I could not get back on the site. The most awful distasteful site I have ever experienced and should be reported. I have done nothing. I am glad as o would not use it again anyway.

EBay not paying sellers and suspending accounts
We are a long time seller who has had an account suspended(no reason) sold a ring £2950 great review customer received it.
EBay said account suspended and are keeping our money
I have filled in court in uk and will update.

I made account and post product and it take long before my item was posted Ebay confirm me that i successfully add my item on Ebay after two hours work
One hour later i reopen my ebay account and see my selling map Not any product appair there I log out and log in again but not any product was posted I sended link of the posted product to my wive and reopen it after I delete my ebay account Then minute later i receive email from ebay We want to keep eBay a safe and enjoyable place to buy and sell. We may suspend an account if we have cause for concern, and/or if we're unable to verify any information you've provided to us. Please bear in mind that as your account is suspended, you won't be able to buy or sell on eBay or register a new account.This platform is more dangerous than get hacked by Russian and Chinese hackers

J'ai voulu acheter une pièce détachée FLEISCHMANN, pas chère du tout (6,0 €) . J'ai introduit la commande le 27.04, j'ai effectué le paiement complet ( 16,00 €) le même jour par virement qui a été enregistré le 03.05 à la banque; j'ai reçu la confirmation de cela le 03.05 avec confirmation de la livraison entre le 5 et le 10 mai. N'ayant pas de réponse le 17 mai, j'ai contacté la société EBAY qui m'a répondu en anglais ce qui suit :

By revealing further information, we could help member’s intent on circumventing our policies to avoid detection.

For your account there is no appeal for this decision. Although we will read any future appeals you send, we may not respond to your inquiries regarding this restriction.

From this point forward, in order to conduct business, you will have to find a different venue.

Pur ceux qui comprennent l'anglais ils auront compris que le résultat est que mon paiement effectué par virement a été confirmé par la banque . Apparemment je ne suis pas le premier à avoir cette blague, quand on paie par virement . Alors que faire ?

not a recent review but once some years back I sold a toy to an international buyer he paid with paypal and after he recieved the item even i had evidence he received it he complained that he had not and paypal did a charge back without even asking or looking for any evidence and i still had to pay commision on the sale..total bunch of gangsters..i still use ebay but im nervous of it everytime..be a buyer not a seller. many sellers outside of the u.s will end up with nothing but misery..remember..paypal is ebay..ebay is paypal..one is just as nasty as the other..i wanted to give zero stars.

Horrible service, received not working item and they ruled in favor of the seller without even asking for any evidence and they denied i could not even return the item.

EBAY "TRUST AND SAFETY TEAM" ARE INCOMPETENT,THEY LIE AND GIVE YOU INCORRECT INFORMATION. IF THEY CANNOT ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS/COMPLAINT THEY DISCONNECT THE CALL. WHEN YOU TRY TO PHONE AGAIN YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE WHOLE SYSTEM AGAIN. TWICE THEY PROMISED TO PHONE ME BACK. BETWEEN 12.20 AND 13.20 ON THE 8TH APRIL THEN 10.00 AND 11.00 9TH APRIL. NEITHER CALL RECEIVED.NOW WHEN I PHONE AS SOON AS THEY REALISE WHAT THE CALL IS ABOUT THEY REFUSE TO DEAL WITH THE COMPLAINT UNTIL THEY GET FED UP THEN PUT THE PHONE DOWN AGAIN

Worst customer service ever. Got responses twice from some Indian guys who had no clue and didn't have the time to read my mail. The account of my seller has been hacked and I sent 1840 euro to a wrong account! No help of Ebay whatsoever. After 13 years of frequent buying, i'm out!

There are a lot of scammers on this site who take your hard earned money and you do not get the goods that you paid for and it takes ages to get your money back from Ebay.

So my advice is do not buy anything of high value.

As one good site, I like it very much.

I have read that ebay is paying Asians to go and write a good recommendation in pages such as Trustpilot. the webpage is not as good as every one thinks.
Try to go through the 5 stars Ebay has and notice how shady those accounts are! their profile here at trustpilot is a scam
Im concerned online ordering has come to this, consumers is ending up with no rights and no warranty when multinational corporations are working like this.
