Vereniging Eigen Huis is de enige onafhankelijke vereniging voor (toekomstige) huiseigenaren in Nederland. De vereniging helpt haar 800.000 leden en bij haar aangesloten VvE’s bij aankoop, bezit, beheer en verkoop van een eigen woning onder meer op juridisch, financieel en bouwkundig gebied. Met alle vragen over hun bezit kunnen leden bij ons terecht – of het nou startende of ervaren huiseigenaren zijn. Wij begrijpen hoeveel ze van hun huis houden en dat ze daar graag duurzaam, prettig en veilig willen wonen. Of het nou een rijtjeshuis is, een appartement in een flat of een vrijstaande villa. Wij komen voor de leden op bij de overheid en bij alle andere partijen waar zij als woningbezitter mee te maken hebben. Wij zijn alert op misstanden en ondernemen actie als dat nodig is. Wij bundelen de inkoopkracht van individuele leden in het collectief. Bij inkoop van woondiensten gaan we voor de beste prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. We maken daarbij geen winst; we geven het voordeel terug aan leden en zetten het in om hun positie te versterken. We zijn een krachtig collectief. Today, I had a great experience interacting with VEH. They understood my concern and the customer service staff promptly explored a resolution for it. My concern was addressed in just 10 minutes. Overall, the staff was friendly and supportive. I would definitely recommend VEH to homeowners in NL. This is a great collective association that understands our concerns and looks for collective solutions.

The website is not working correctly and I was not able to cancel my subscription.
Once called them later they said that I have to pay the charges and they even calculated 5e late payment fee! When I said that I am not using the account and even dont have any password they said I still have to pay for something I am not using! It is illegal and ridiculous!!
Reply: That's not true! I called you and informed that I DID NOT receive the new password until I called. I requested a new pass 4 times and received nothing! Also you cant charge me any late fees! Its illegal and you know that!

Dag Elina, wij ontvingen de opzegging in augustus. Het lidmaatschap was al in juni met een jaar verlengd waardoor de contributie voor het lopende jaar ons nog verschuldigd is. Instructies voor het instellen van een (nieuw) wachtwoord kan altijd via de website aangevraagd worden en wordt verzonden naar het ons bekende e-mailadres. Bij vragen of het nodig hebben van assistentie, is onze ledenservice bereikbaar via 033-450 77 50, van maandag tot en met donderdag van 09:00 tot 21:00 uur. Vriendelijke groet, Vereniging Eigen Huis

After receiving a different lawyer, it feels like Eigenhuis just wanted to get some insurance money from us and don't really want to help us.
I honestly recommend to stay away from them as I feel like my time and money were wasted for nothing.

We have a legal conflict against a company that caused damage to our house while installing a dormer window.
Following some good advice we received from a legal advisor in EigenHuis, we've decided to ask our legal insurance company to allow us to be represented by Eigen Huis.
Ever since this case moved to EigenHuis, our lawyer was nice, but as this is ongoing for at least 5 months now, and in the last month we haven't received any reply from our lawyer, we asked to get a different lawyer.
Yesterday, a secretary called us, gave us a very rude lecture about all the costs that needs to be carried by reading our file again, and also she said that we will not receive a lawyer that speaks in English.
She also said that the money that we are giving from our insurance company is insufficient and that's why they will not charge us for reading the file again.
When we tried to explain her that this is not our fault and that we are paying for this service, regardless whether if we pay from our own pockets or our insurance, EigenHuis are getting paid by us and we expect some standards of service in return.
At this point the secretary lost her mind, started to scream at us, saying things in french and saying that she's just the secretary and we don't need to shoot her.
If she's just the secretary she can just make an appoointment and spare us from her rudeness and her ability to lecture us for expecting to get replies from our lawyer.
Even if we speak English, even if we are covered by an insurance company, we still deserve service that we're paying for!
