[SOLVED] Stay away.. company cancels warranty without consent
UPDATE 29/12: Company has contacted me and offered a solution to mitigate the situation.
I had a plastic filling on my front tooth as a piece keeps chipping off. Had it done in April of this year for the first time, for which Godt Smil provides a two-year guarantee (as listed on their website). It chipped off again in September, after which I had it done again under the warranty, and the dentist informed me verbally during treatment that if it happened again, "we need to find another solution", which seemed fine by me.
Come November, I had to have it replaced again, and this time I was helped by another dentist. He suggested to replace it for a second time which I had done on the spot, without being informed of any costs prior to the treatment.
I have now received an invoice for the November treatment, as Godt Smil claims I verbally agreed to cancel the warranty after the first repayment. I was not told (moreover did not receive anything in writing) and did not agree to anything at all. Furthermore, during the November treatment I was not informed of the warranty being void, and I was charged for 1,800kr while the first (and equal) treatment was 1,400kr!
When I notified Godt Smil, they keep referring to the internal journal note they made, which I was not informed of, and are now refusing to cancel the invoice!
Very unprofessional service to cancel a warranty without a patient's consent, and not inform a patient of future costs when coming in for the next treatment.

I initially had a very positive impression of this office because I never had issues with cancellations or rescheduling. Before starting my treatment, I mentioned that I live far away and can only attend at certain times, and they were always flexible, offering alternatives and making it easy to adjust appointments. I felt like I could rely on them and that they truly understood that things can come up.
However, my experience changed recently. I called to cancel an appointment for legitimate personal reasons, and they said it was fine and rescheduled me. Later, I found out I had been charged for the missed appointment without any prior notice. I was under the impression that cancellations were okay, especially since they had been accommodating in the past.
To make matters more frustrating, while I was negotiating the bill via email to understand why I was charged, I was also charged a late fee. Overall, I feel the office is not very direct or clear about their policies. While they seem patient-friendly at first, once you become a regular, it feels like they look for ways to add extra charges.
