I LOVE my Montec coat! I live in Minnesota where winters can be pretty cold, so I made sure to get the insulated one. The armpit zippers are a favorite of mine. I also LOVE the style and look of it. It is very slimming!

The ski apparel is really great looking and feels comfortable, but it is way to thin. Provides minimal insulation. I was cold. I was told you have to wear 1-2 base layers and unfortunately I hate wearing base layers. I wanted a ski outfit that need minimal thermal layers under the outfit.
In response to Montec's reply. I don't sweat while skiing unless it is a really hot day. Wearing multiple layers restricts movement and would defeat the purpose of buying something light and breathable. Plus, who wants to spend $500+ on an outfit then have to buy more clothing for a base and mid layer. Either make your products more affordable or make them more insulated. Give people the option of buying light and breathable or buying heavier and insulated. If I am spending that much money I expect to not have to wear much underneath.

I bought the Montec Doom jacket for our 13 year old son for his ski trip to France with his high school. Quick delivery, and regularly kept upto date from Montec .
The jacket arrived,well packaged. Really impressed with the quality of the jacket. We bought a size Medium and it fitted perfect. We went for the insulated version and it was it was still light but with still kept our son warm even at -17 at one point.
Highly recommend Montec. Will definitely buy from them again!

I ordered an item almost a week and a half ago. My status still shows unknown I never received tracking. I have reached out to this company numerous of times they refuse to cancel my order and they refuse to refund my money. Please be aware this company is a SCAM. The reviews that are currently on this site must be from this company’s friends, our colleagues.

Unbelievable customer service! I spoke to Georgie Fraser about having problems with my return as the company I had returned my parcel through weren’t giving me updates. Customer service were super responsive in getting back to me and said they would get in touch about my parcel and sort it out there end which was super helpful as I’d had numerous conversations with the returns company myself with no luck or updates on my parcel 10/10 customer service highly recommend!!

I got the alpha base layers, fleece sweater, DOOM jacket and FAWK bibs as well as the KILO mitts and goggles. I’m super happy with everything from MONTEC. Unbelievably good company to deal with. My Dune jacket turned up 2 days earlier than expected, and I'm blown away by the quality for the price. Far better quality than some other outdoor jackets that I've paid more than double for. They also keep you well informed of where your order is up to. Will definitely be buying from them again.

Incredible responsiveness and problem solving attitude. Consumer is always at the centre. No issue remains undealt with. The product, I bought an Arch Jkt, a Fawk pant and goggles are just unpeccable. I am a professional and have worked in outdoor and motorcycle equipment ever since, I can say their fabrics, trims, finishing are just top notch abd their price/value ratio unbeatable. Finally a great thanks to their aftersale team, Ellie, Georgie and Ali that really took good care of me and ultimately made my skirides unforgettable.

My son ordered a ski jacket and the ski trouser in teal colour . We realised once he was wearing them at the skiing resort that the jacket teal colour was not exactly the same than the trouser’s one and was more grey than teal ! This is really disappointing!!!!

I got scammed - $1,178.39 gone and no refund after returning my order
I honestly feel completely cheated by this company. I paid $1,178.39 for an order that I returned over a month ago. The package was delivered to their warehouse, and I waited and waited for my refund - but nothing ever came.
When I reached out to support, instead of helping, they claimed the warehouse “didn’t receive the correct items” and told me to file a chargeback with my bank. I even sent them a clear photo of the return package showing the correct items, and after a long delay they still came back with another excuse and again told me to dispute the charge - saying they would “happily” respond to it & stopped replying to me.
It honestly feels like they are doing everything possible to avoid issuing my refund and pushing the problem back on me.
This experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and incredibly disappointing. No one should have to fight this hard to get their own money back after doing everything right.
I would strongly warn others to think twice before ordering from this company.

I bought the Moss Ski Jacket and initially really loved it. It fits well and looks great but it is not the warmest. Unless you layer well you will be cold, but my main complaint is with the bottom pockets on the front exterior of the jacket. These pockets become unzipped with movement, which is obviously unavoidable while skiing. I made the mistake of putting my inhaler in that pocket and did not realize until I was home from skiing that the pocket was open and the inhaler was gone. This design flaw is pretty shocking considering the other details of the jacket are well thought through. I will continue to wear my Montec set but due to this flaw as well as the cold leakage I will most likely not purchase from Montec again.

**Top Tier Customer Service**
I ordered a jacket from Montec and Purolator experienced some shipping delays and missed my the expected delivery date by 2 days. I received an email from Montec saying they've noticed the jacket hasn't arrived yet and asked if they could do anything to help. I mentioned I had an upcoming Ski trip and was hopping to use the jacket. Montec immediately sent another jacket my way express delivery so I'd receive the jacket prior to the ski trip. All my email communications have been replied in under an hour. I can't speak highly enough of their customer service.
At this time I can't comment too much on the quality of the jacket. However initial thoughts I'm excited about the jacket and it appears to be very high quality. For the price of it you can't go wrong. There are so many other brands out there where to get a winter insulated ski jacket the price is starting around $600 CAD. Where Montec offers a good quality jacket for a very reasonable and competitive price.

Instead of give a size information about jacket and pants they ask age, belly shape, height and weight. So, you are have no real chance to measured yourself and find proper size. Also they have fake comparison with another brands: don't be fooled, sizes are also not corresponded.

Ordered 2 Jackets and a pair of salopettes.
1 of the jackets and salopettes were a matching set. The jackets were fine but the salopettes too big. I emailed to see if they were getting more stock in the lower size pants as it is close to me going away, or I'd have returned the matching set.
Rose contacted me immediately to say as it was close, it was unlikely unless they had returns, but they had my size in the same colour from a slightly different style, which I'd seen also. She said if I ordered and paid express post they'd refund the express element and then I could return the other pair so I'd have what I wanted for my trip.
I did this, and 20 mins later Ben (whom I assume is a manger) followed it up and confirmed receipt of order and that they'd be refunding the express shipping.
Supreme customer service that is sadly lacking in most companies these days.
Thanks Rose and Ben. And guess what other companies (I'm looking at you Stellar Equipment), great customer service does matter, and it matters greatly to me, and breeds loyalty to a brand. Ask Apple.

Hello. I am writing this review with a heavy feeling and a huge disappointment. After buying in your store, I came across a situation that I can only describe as theft.
I returned the item that did not fit the size, acting in good faith and preserving all evidence of shipment. However, instead of help and understanding, I received a boilerplate response stating that the refund was "not received or does not match what was stated." I was refused a refund, suggesting that I contact the bank to dispute the payment, as if I had done something wrong.
I feel cheated and robbed. I didn't just lose money, I lost trust. Instead of sorting it out, your team shifts the responsibility onto the client. This is unacceptable.
I am addressing you publicly because I was ignored in my personal correspondence. Please respond and help me solve this problem. I believe that honesty and reputation mean something to you.
I am ready to provide all supporting documents.
