Great Ancestral Layout

I am able to locate family members easily on my heritage. They have access to additional sites as Family Search and a Billion Graves. I appreciate the Smart Matches and Discovery except for the newspaper stories that do not provide adequate information in the initial note. Overall I think My Heritage is great.

Useful service, but too many extra paid add-ons

I recently purchased a yearly subscription and overall I find MyHeritage to be a very useful service. Building and exploring my family tree is enjoyable, and the record search features work well. The platform offers a lot of valuable tools for anyone interested in family history.

However, what I find frustrating is the constant push for additional paid features. Right after purchasing the annual plan, I was immediately offered more paid add-ons and upgrades. It creates the impression that even with a full subscription, you still don’t really have full access. I would prefer clearer subscription options and fewer aggressive upsell prompts.

I also think the website and the family tree interface could look more modern. Functionally it works well, but the design feels a bit outdated.

Overall, I rate it 4 stars because it is genuinely useful, but there is definitely room for improvement.

I had completely forgotten how close my renewing my account with you.
The lady on the phone (sorry, I didn't get her name) was trying to get me to renew. I have to say she was one of the best online sellers I have ever come across!
I explained that I have been with Findmypast for 15 years and wanted to think about renewing, but perhaps not quite now.
She rang the following day with an offer I couldn't refuse, so here we are at the beginning of year two. Please give the lady who spoke to me a 'pat on the back' as I really didn't think I wanted to renew and she changed that to a purchase!
