He was the 7th engineer I’ve had in 4 weeks. He was the only one who had the intelligence to check the outside cabling. He quickly discovered that workmen installing a disabled ramp at my home had cut through the external cabling and had “ bodged” a repair. He was a real credit to your company!

Openreach unwilling to give information about works carried out
I'm finding impossible to get any information from Openreach about the work done on my property, I've used chat, emails, forms, more emails and every time they come up with pathetic stock excuses not to give me any information. Every time they refer you to a different department that can't help because its the wrong one. Complaints won't help because they say no work has been done to my property, it's just been done on and over my property to server another property already served by another pole and cable over my property. I understand Openreach has certain permitted development rights but I'm not convinved they should be allowed to do what they like on a property or indeed over it without communicating with the owner. I'm also very sure giving customers looking for information the run around deliberately will not make a good impression.

Outstanding customer service one could only dream of
I recently made the decision to switch from Sky to BT, following a 'school boy error' by Sky who inexplicably and erroneously disconnected my broadband. When I called Sky, I was informed that it would take a minimum of 14 days to reconnect the broadband again and that was "my only option"
I then called BT just after 7pm Thursday evening and spoke first with Bash (sales I think) then Ben. Nothing was too much trouble, from my perspective it really felt like both went out of their way to help, although both told me it was all part of the service. By Saturday afternoon I had received a hybrid router and router hub, from BT, I called tech support and was then guided through the entire connection process via video call by another Ben, who was equally helpful, professional and incredibly patient (I'm of a pre - tech / internet generation) and again, I was given the distinct impression that nothing was too much trouble. Truly outstanding service from first contact to connection. The kind of customer service one could only dream of. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!
