I used PDF Smart only once to convert a single file, for which I paid £1. However, shortly after, I discovered that I had been charged £50 for a subscription that I was not clearly aware of.
The subscription terms were not presented in a clear or transparent way. Important information about ongoing charges was placed in a way that felt hidden or easy to miss, which is very misleading for users who just want a one-time service.
When I noticed the pending charge, I immediately tried to cancel the subscription, but it was difficult to find where to do so. I contacted their support team via email as soon as possible, but unfortunately, they refused to issue a refund, not my fault it is a delay in their response.
Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this service due to the lack of transparency and poor customer support. Be very careful when using this platform, as what թվում like a simple £1 service can quickly turn into an expensive subscription.
Fraudulent company…AVOID
Following the hidden charge 49 pounds contacted them and highlighted that they had not specified as they claim it is in their terms and conditions however when you read through their terms and conditions is entirely misleading and confusing unprofessional service. When refund is requested they make no explanation other than state the charges are in their terms of conditions.

1 star as I can't give 0 stars!
Disgracefully misled... thought i was converting 1xdocument for £1 and have now seen that they have taken 2x £49.99 payments! I did not subscribe to this service. I have complained and demanded a refund as I've clearly only converted one document, as needed but they are point blank refusing. Disgusting company that rip people off and won't even allow me to.converse with management or address me by my name. Thieves!
Its trap
Its trap, I have not used more then once, was trail and paid 99p, then automatically been set £49.99 for month which I was not aware of.
Dont use it! Ripping of people.
Do not use - scam 'subscription trap'
Do not use - they sneak a £50 per month subscription on you, even if you just use the 'single use' option for £1. This company is completely and totally fraudulent. They give no indication of the subscription, nor any reminders. And stubbornly refuse to repay the money they have stolen. Avoid at all costs.
Note: You can use Firefox for free for simple PDF edits instead.
