Came true in a crunch
The Xcotton service came with my purchase and I wasn't even sure what it was for. However, when my package showed that it had been delivered, I endured a few days of frustration with the supplier and the shipping company. Neither wanted to take on any responsibility.

Glad I got it
While at first I was told everything was delivered (it wasn’t) and while they took a few days to get back to me, everything else other than that first interaction and delay went great with this insurance company. Cherry got my claim resolved pretty quickly once I provided screenshots of the tracking number never delivered and I followed up. Would definitely use this insurance again and I’m glad I had it since most of my order was never delivered. Thanks to this insurance I might even be willing to rebuy the product and give the Chinese drop-shippers another chance - with insurance again of course! Thanks again to Cherry for getting me taken care of.

I purchased Xcotton shipping insurance for a retirement party. But unfortunately the shipping carrier delivered this item to the wrong address. The small cost of insurance was definitely a good investment for getting my money back when the seller wouldn’t refund my purchase. I worked with Dily, who promptly returned my emails and made sure my clam was filed correctly and processed quickly. I had a great experience Thank you for your amazing customer service.
Transit damage
Had a Donner Piano damaged in transit and very fortunately I had taken out insurance to cover this. After submitting photos of the damage, Mona of Xcotton promptly addressed the issue and sorted out the situation to my satisfaction. I would recommend Xcotton as taking out this insurance represents very good value and gives peace of mind.

Did I really need this insurance?
It was not obvious what this insurance was for when I purchased it. I only purchased because it looked like product might ship from China so I went for it. I DID NOT KNOW that once purchased, I could not return product and my only option was compensation. In hind sight I would not have purchased for that reason. Cherry was my contact and although did not answer all my related questions on my options, did manage to get an appropriate compensation for the defective product and shipping damage.
