Horrific service
**Update 5** 36 days after purchasing, 31 days after requesting a refund for an item I never received, weeks and weeks of poor communication and continuous changes to dates, Currys have finally issued my money back.
An absolute nightmare of an experience, filled with staff who just didn’t care that about their customer. A cliché, but it was genuinely like speaking to a brick wall. They cared little about Trading Standard, which dictated I should have been issue my refund 18 days before I actually received it.
Never again will I shop at this ridiculous company, who’s only foresight is that of their own gain, and nothing to do with their customers or the law!
**Update 4** Currys received my items back from DPD who never delivered the items back to me. They issued me with a text stating that I would have my money back in 5 working days. 5 working days have passed, and still they have not given me my refund. They are now 7 days late for refunding my money in accordance with the "Consumer Contracts Regulation". Where is my money Curry's? (I assume I will still receive no answer from you)
**Update 3** 23 days after my purchase, and 18 days after a requested refund… I am still without either product or money. This is trading outside of the the British Trading Laws Currys. You have over £550 of my money. Why have you not given it back?
**Update 2** 7 days on after sending Curry's the information, they finally called. I still have not received my product purchased on the 26th of December, nor have I received a refund for the items due to no delivery which I requested 31st December.
I was informed by a member of the "customer for life" team, that they would not issue me a refund, on the order, I have never received, until they receive back from DPD the items which was never delivered to me. They are telling me I can not have my money back, until they have taken position from DPD, which can be 7-10 days. They are making me wait for my money, due to someone else's issue.
Well, I should not have to wait this long, as following a conversation with Citizens advice, they informed me that the "Consumer Contracts Regulation" give me a 14 day cooling off period, and in which time I can request my money back. Curries have 14 days to issue me a refund from the request of my refund. Which means the need to issue me a refund in the next 3 days. I have little faith they will, so next step is trading standards.
**Update** - 4 days on after sending Currys the information they requested in response to my complaint below, I haven't heard anything back from them, or Maria. So, true to form, terrible service. Still don't have my product or my money back.
Possibly their response to this complaint was to show people on trust pilot that they do something about their customers complaints. But so far, they do not!
Horrific service. Item which should be 3-5 days delivery is still not with me. Being told unto 13 weeks. When asked for a refund, I'm told they need 14 days to investigate why I haven't received the item.
Why should they keep my money while they investigate why they are so bad.
The webchat is useless, and everyone must you off, ors says someone will be in touch, and they never do
