Where are my products?

8 days on from purchasing my products on a 3-5 day delivery, they are still yet to be shipped. Unfortunately I have now missed the birthday these were bought as a present for. When chasing the items, I received a generic email stating they are receiving an overwhelming number of orders. If that is the case, state that on your website so the customer can make an informed decision.
Lets hope they are here in time for Christmas presents instead.

Lanx - Great Quality Boots with Fantastic Customer Service

I decided to purchase another pair of Lanx Boots. My 6th pair. The craftmanship and calibre of materials in the boots make it difficult for me to go anywhere else when the itch for a new pair comes along.
During my last transaction, I made a mistake in with the products in my basket, and instantly realised upon completion.
10mins with Lanx on their Live Chat and the issue was not only understood, but rectified to my exact requirements. My loyalty points were even amended to correctly represent my final purchase. Something which I hadn’t even taken into consideration.
Great Quality Boots with Fantastic Customer Service.

Return Cost Woes

I don't like to give such a low rating to &Sons, as I genuinely think that their products are fantastic, and on the whole have good customer service team.
However, this issue arises when you have to return a product which either doesn't fit, or doesn't suit you.

I placed an order online for several items, but not all of them were right for me. &Sons do not offer any sort of assistance with returning your unwanted items. They do not offer free returns, an annual return subscription, or an associated return partner, much like other companies do.
In fact, &Sons request that you do not return goods utilising certain commonly known carriers, limiting who you can send your returns with.

What this means is, should you wish to return items you have to find a carrier service and then pay the charges to ship the items back.
To return 4 t-shirts and a pair of jeans cost me £17.98. I received quotes for the shipping for up to £28.
When I approached &Sons with regards to this, they suggested splitting down the returns into several packages to reduce costs (It didn't). Other than that, they could offer no assistance.

A potential cost of near 10% of the items value, to try on clothing, I personally find very hard to swallow. This cost really does make me think twice about ordering from &Sons. As I end up out of pocket, if the items doesn't fit me.
I honestly think &Sons can do better here.

Thanks for your feedback here. As you note, we do not offer free postal returns but it is something we do receive feedback about and we continue to investigate the feasibility of adopting such a thing. As a small business, this is a very large outlay so not a decision we can take lightly.

We do invest in staffing our chat around the clock and we pride ourselves in our response times and coverage. We can provide specs for items to assist in the choosing of items, too. Having this online guidance keeps our return levels lower than industry standard and allows us to have meaningful conversations with our customers.

Wonderful, Wonderful One Up!

No praise for One Up Components is enough praise for One Up Components. Mountain biking is not a cheap sport/hobby. However, One Up buck the trend by making innovative, stylish, practical and well designed products at realistic price points. Their products just works… and work well.
Even if you do find an issue with their product, people like Fraser in their support team have knowledge, care and dedication to get you back riding again.
Well done One Up.

Poor After Sales Experience

I purchased a Saris H3 Turbo Trainer for £450. This is not a cheap unit.
I contacted Saris during the warranty period to explain that the unit wasn't running correctly. They asked me to issue them with video evidence. Which I did. They then asked me to open up the unit and send them pictures of the internals. Which I did.
Saris have now ceased communication with me, leaving me with an opened product and no resolution.
I was in a better position before I contacted their "support team".
I can not believe there are still companies that consider this type of treatment of the customers as acceptable.
I would avoid purchasing from this company.

Love the gear from &Sons. Classic style, made to a high quality.
Some items in the same size, do seem to fit differently however, so make sure you try on and resize if needed.

They wont let you cancel

I have had the crumb dog tag subscription for just over a year. All started well, and the support was good. The issue has come when unfortunately, we had to rehome our pet, as he bit our 1 year old daughter.
I have contacted crumb several times to cancel the subscription (as you are unable to cancel the direct debit!!), and all they do is take a week to respond, and try to get you to maintain the subscription. I have told them bluntly to cancel, then they try to get you to keep it at a discounted rate.
Surely as a company dealing with pets, they should understand how heart wrenching it can be to have to give up a pet, and especially in these circumstances. However, much like any other corporation, they only want your money!! Terrible service!!

Return Costs

I love the clothing from &Sons. Classic styles, great quality clothing, and quick delivery. What is great, about &Sons also, is they reward their customers. Money off, free shipping, etc.

The only reason why I have given 4 stars, and not 5 starts, is that for the first time, I had to return my purchase, as they did not suit me. &Sons are clear on their website, that they cannot cover costs of returning items, so there was no surprise that I had to pay. However, it cost me £12.75 to send my 2 pairs of shorts back. £12.75 to just try on some clothes. Not an easy pill to swallow, and I will certainly be thinking twice before I purchase from &Sons again.

Great MTB Spares To Be Found

I Really like SJS Cycles. They stock some great spares and tools that allow the home mechanic to be able to perform all the maintenance the need on their bikes. They seem to carry more from each manufacturer than other retails do to. So if like me and you have a mix of manufacturers on your bike/s, Hope, DT Swiss, Shimano, Sram, you can still get all the parts from the same place.
Not the quickest shop to ship out on the standard delivery, if that sort of thing bothers you.

This company is a joke. Not UK based in the UK, they are based out of German. Do not let union jacks on their font decive you. We have been wating 8 weeks for a rerfund. Customer service ignore the issues, much like others have said.

Complete disregard of consumer service and law

Purchased a PlayStation on Boxing Day. Never received the item. 1 month on I am still fighting to get my money back, even though I requested this on the 31st December. This timescale contravenes the Consumer Contract Regulations. During this period I have received nothing but poor service from currys. Messages saying I’ll be sent a refund in 5 days, then the money never turns up. Always told, just wait, just wait. A month on, and still waiting!!!

Horrific service

**Update 5** 36 days after purchasing, 31 days after requesting a refund for an item I never received, weeks and weeks of poor communication and continuous changes to dates, Currys have finally issued my money back.
An absolute nightmare of an experience, filled with staff who just didn’t care that about their customer. A cliché, but it was genuinely like speaking to a brick wall. They cared little about Trading Standard, which dictated I should have been issue my refund 18 days before I actually received it.
Never again will I shop at this ridiculous company, who’s only foresight is that of their own gain, and nothing to do with their customers or the law!

**Update 4** Currys received my items back from DPD who never delivered the items back to me. They issued me with a text stating that I would have my money back in 5 working days. 5 working days have passed, and still they have not given me my refund. They are now 7 days late for refunding my money in accordance with the "Consumer Contracts Regulation". Where is my money Curry's? (I assume I will still receive no answer from you)

**Update 3** 23 days after my purchase, and 18 days after a requested refund… I am still without either product or money. This is trading outside of the the British Trading Laws Currys. You have over £550 of my money. Why have you not given it back?

**Update 2** 7 days on after sending Curry's the information, they finally called. I still have not received my product purchased on the 26th of December, nor have I received a refund for the items due to no delivery which I requested 31st December.
I was informed by a member of the "customer for life" team, that they would not issue me a refund, on the order, I have never received, until they receive back from DPD the items which was never delivered to me. They are telling me I can not have my money back, until they have taken position from DPD, which can be 7-10 days. They are making me wait for my money, due to someone else's issue.
Well, I should not have to wait this long, as following a conversation with Citizens advice, they informed me that the "Consumer Contracts Regulation" give me a 14 day cooling off period, and in which time I can request my money back. Curries have 14 days to issue me a refund from the request of my refund. Which means the need to issue me a refund in the next 3 days. I have little faith they will, so next step is trading standards.

**Update** - 4 days on after sending Currys the information they requested in response to my complaint below, I haven't heard anything back from them, or Maria. So, true to form, terrible service. Still don't have my product or my money back.
Possibly their response to this complaint was to show people on trust pilot that they do something about their customers complaints. But so far, they do not!

Horrific service. Item which should be 3-5 days delivery is still not with me. Being told unto 13 weeks. When asked for a refund, I'm told they need 14 days to investigate why I haven't received the item.
Why should they keep my money while they investigate why they are so bad.
The webchat is useless, and everyone must you off, ors says someone will be in touch, and they never do
