We had a wonderful 17 day adventure to the Galápagos Islands, Lima, and Machu Picchu. We worked with Megan at SA Expeditions and she was so patient and helpful putting our itinerary together. We had to go through several iterations before it was just what we thought would work best for us, and she willingly made the changes. She asked about the level of luxury we were comfortable with and she chose our accommodations accordingly. We loved the Endemic, the boat we toured the Galapagos on, and the boutique hotels we stayed in throughout the rest of the trip. They were all lovely and in prime locations. We would not hesitate to use SA Expeditions again and we would request Megan. She did a great job. 5 stars.

Ilze from Southern Destinations helped me put together a 3 week epic African adventure for 6 of us. She patiently worked with me for months to make sure that every detail of the trip was just the way I wanted it. We traveled to 6 countries, stayed in top notch hotels and camps, saw the big five in 2 days on one Serengeti safari, saw hundreds of animals up close and personal on a Chobe River safari, rode elephants at Victoria Falls, saw penguins in Capetown, and the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg. My point is there were lots of logistics for Ilze to have to iron out. Everything worked flawlessly. There was someone to take us to, and meet us, at every single flight, and destination. Then 21/2 weeks before our departure, she had to go to all the trouble to cancel the flights and hotel stays for one in our group who wasn't able to make the trip. She was amazing through it all. All of us had the vacation of a lifetime. The time flew by. Please travel to Africa, and let Ilze help you create an itinerary just for you. I wish I had an Ilze to help me put a trip together for Australia and NZ. I'm spoiled now.
