Not a service for Grownups
My company has been with Indeed for over 2 years and only use the service periodically. Logged in a few days ago and had message that ability to contact job seekers was suspended 2 months ago, no reason provided. You are allowed to file an online 'appeal', but instead of being told why you're suspended, the form asks why you think you're suspended. We did not violate any rules...have used service as we always have. The response from 'appeal' was that the suspension would not be lifted and they would not respond to any further inquiries. Juvenile way of handling business. The gall of Indeed to continue charging our company for 2 months without even notifying of the suspension is unbelievable. No email, no phone call, no notification until we went to use the service. No explanation anywhere. Then absolute refusal to explain the reason.
There are other games in town...I suggest job providers use a grown up service. To their credit, they did refund the 2 months of service after request.
IN RESPONSE TO INDEED'S RESPONSE: That's all we have ever done. We did not contact anyone for any other reason. We've used the service exactly the same for past 2 years. And despite your response now, you never told me any specific reason for suspension. Hid behind an electronic wall. Like I said...Not for grownups.
