Item not fit for purpose. Terrible trouble getting refunded.

Same issue as another reviewer about blood glucode monitor NOT doing the job as described on the website. They tell you that it is YOUR fault that YOU ordered a product from THEIR website that does not work as described on THIER website. So Mr Customer just keep the faulty device and THEY will give you a generous 20% refund ie you pay 80% for a product that does not do what it says on the website !!
Clear not for purpose item under the Consumer Protection Act 2019. I have sent it back for a full refund , but don't have much hope, it's been going on since December. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Just visited for evening meal

Just visited for evening meal. Not been there for a while, The staff - especially our server Izzy, were efficient and helpful. The meal was a variety of items from the main menu. All reasonably priced around £18 to £20 on average. The steak in particular was cooked completely to the requested level of colour perfectly first time. Nothing was too much trouble for alteration to our requirements. Good choice of draft beers on tap. The desserts were varied and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

So so experience with this travel card

Card arrived saying first transaction must be chip and pin - fair enough , but no info saying you have to get pin first through app . I assumed app pin was same as pin on card … so first transaction declined at point of sale - most embarrassing . Worked for most part in France on few early transaction but failed on first large transaction , although more than enough credit on card . Not sure why . Worked thereafter ok . App kept giving opening balance for 5 days straight . Had to call up to check balance . Eventually all transactions appeared in one go - obvious system issue but highly disappointing for a 7 day travel window… overall could do better .

The telephone queueing system was…

The telephone queueing system was informative with good option to get a call back if you need to leave it. Josh was knowledgeable and handled the enquiry well. My order is now on the way, so very pleased with the overall experience. Only downside, the music on hold needs replacing, the quality is awful !

Fast service

Fast service, great communication on delivery of item. Only a small item but treated like any other large customer. Keen pricing and simple to use website for finding the part for my VW Polo. What's not to like !!

Stay clear - tried to switch business bank accounts experience

I have been trying to switch to Co-op Bank under the Nat West Business Banking switch scheme since 8th November 2020 !!!!!
Loads and loads of delays by Co-op. Latest email dated 1st February 2020 finally promising a quick 24 hour turnaround, and will be open 19th Feb to open Business account. It STILL shows website has 'Technical issues' and advises NOT to contact customer support via the emailed link.
I have contacted customer support before and they can't help anyway.
There is a deadline of 28th Feb to apply before you loose incentive payments. Nat West can not help further.
I have to conclude this is being done deliberately to stop the number of online applications. Have now given up and applied to Metro Bank in order to beat the deadline. Co-op have proved to be absolute rubbish in this process. In line with the other comments posted here , my advice is stay well clear of this joke of a bank - i think i have been lucky not to have joined by the sounds of it.
