Thermomate won't honor warranty
Thermomate will not honor their warranty. Do not buy from them. They also lie to you in their correspondence. We have a brand new Thermomate wall oven that does not work right out of the box. My family bought it for me as a gift, they bought it online. It arrived sealed in original carton, foam and plastic. But once we got it connected to electricity we discovered that the touch control panel was defective. We contacted Thermomate and were told to send copy of receipt, video of non-working condition, and we'd be able to get a replacement. NOT TRUE. We sent what they asked for plus a photo of the box. Because my family bought it on ebay they say they will not replace it. They said they only sell on Amazon and won't honor warranty if bought anywhere else. But I caught them in their lies - they sell to Home Depot, HD, Bed Bath & Beyond and other retailers. They should honor the warranty on ANY product new out of the box. Their website doesn't say they limit their warranty coverage to only authorized retailers and they don't list the places they will honor warranty for.
