Review of Sigma Sports
Ordered on finance and got it signed off and delivered within days. A massive package with extra tools thrown in for free. I ordered from another bike provider initially and they were nothing but a hassle and failed to deliver. With sigma I had no hassle and it came almost entirely pre assembled parring just the seat and front wheel which are easy to put on. Greatful to sigma ill be testing it out shortly!
Review of Evans Cycles
I ordered a bike through Evans Cycles and even entered a finance agreement for it, only to be left completely in the dark about my order.
I was not contacted with any updates, so I went to the collection store myself on the agreed date, where I was told the bike hadn’t arrived and that I would be contacted the following day. The next update I received was that the bike had been lost in transit and possibly released elsewhere due to high demand.
Despite this being an item already paid for and tied to an active finance contract, there was no attempt to resolve the situation properly — no replacement offered, no alternative suggested, and no accountability taken. The order and finance were simply cancelled without this being my preferred outcome, leaving me with wasted time, travel costs, and further delays in purchasing a bike.
All communication had to be initiated by me, and the overall experience showed a serious lack of organisation and customer care. For a company selling high-value items, this level of service is unacceptable.
I would not recommend Evans Cycles based on this experience.
