About Me
[Placeholder text until I have more time to come up with a less very serious bio.]
Well, there’s not much to say about me. I’m a self-taught photographer and materials engineer. I’m a guy who enjoys the cheap and pleasant things.
I do a lot of things as a side hobby:
- Restoring old cameras and lenses. (It gets you in a very zen state of mind.)
- Homebrewing. (It’s fun and delicious.)
- Building desktop PCs. (With the most bang for your buck.)
- Gaming. (PC/XBone, baby)
- Making photographs. (There’s a difference between taking and making photographs. You’ll find me comment about this every so often.)
- Cooking. (You haven’t tasted anything until you’ve had my honey-garlic roasted prime rib.)
- Writing. (I’m senior staff over at a little site known as the SCP Foundation. I haven’t done much recently, since college takes up a good deal of time, but I go when I can. Look up Dr Kens if you get time.)
- Web development. (Yeah, I do web stuff, but don’t think I’ll make yours for free. I do enough of that for school clubs and the SCP wiki.)
If you’re also curious, I enjoy long hikes through the forests or beaches and a nice cookies n’ cream milkshake on a warm summer day with a good novel in my hands.
