INKTOBER: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland ( Chapter I )
Here’s the first illustration of my Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland collection based on the first chapter of the book as she falls the well in her way to Wonderland.

This took me quite some days to finish and I would have loved to add Dinah like in the Disney film but she is only mentioned in this book and appears with her kittens in the Through the Looking Glass. So there’s a hidden portrait of her.

“The Cry of a Nation”
An Ocean Sunfish mermaid I did for Mermay inspired by the theme moon.
For the theme Moon I decided to go with the largest bony fish in the world, the Ocean Sunfish / Common Mola (which in many languages it’s called moonfish) full of starfishes like the night sky. The MoonFish mermaid is a giant creature of mesmerizing beauty. She prays for the ocean during the night, which many sailors consider her a moon goddess.

I am drawing again the Dungeons & Dragons witches from Akki’s Coven since I want to do a zine will all of them and there’s quite some I had never drawn before and only had concepts for them.

Dhreia is a rare union between a Night Hag and a Dragonborn. Recognized by their horns, night hags are the most mysterious and elusive of them all. Legend says they descend from hags who made pacts with the Devil, being the least fae of all hags. Even though they are powerful, they prefer to stay in the confort of their house and from there play in the realm of dreams. Their victims, even away, cannot be safe from the nightmares of the night hags. While cruel, Dhreia is also the wisest hag of the coven, a contrast with the recklessness of her leader, Akki, another night hag. Her dragonborn roots makes Dhreia have empathy and pitty on her kind and unleash her anger on the creatures who have tortured them. Dhreia’s days got a little brighter when Akki adopted a winged dragonborn child, a sign of hope for her kind.
