I hate this website. It's nothing but misleading lies and unconfirmed tweets being passed off as news. I cannot fathom how much money they have to pay just for me to get their worthless notifications from Google. I have to pick a day but their intrusive posts have made their way to my phone for years even though I say "uninterested" to Google and Microsoft all the time. It's basically harassment at this point

Anyone know how to block a website?

Got completely click baited by an article title. It said “Netflix is rewriting Stranger Things Season 5 after backlash”, but when I actually opened the article it’s name was “Netflix rewrites Stranger Things lore with animated prequel.” Not even close to what the title on the link was.

I don't know if I'm the only one who has noticed, but this page is made to ragebait the reader. It posts articles perfectly created to call the attention of the person and frustate them enough that creates the imperious necessity of ranting in the commentary section, hence ScreenRant. Either with articles that absolutely no one agrees with, or with the most blatant clickbait someone could fall for. In my opinion, I think it's simply malevolent.

They post absolute bollocks articles riddled with lies

Bullshit articles about nothing. Titles are typed out in a way to trick the algorithm into showing you their website because they use every buzz word possible. I've read more of their articles than I'd like to admit. There's no journalism here.

Never the correct info in the page and misleading.

Every article relating to any fandom content boils down to poorly researched inpertinent drivel that fails to take into account even surface level knowledge of the topics.

I genuinely feel like they don’t know what they’re talking about. Wet paper palette and no imagination. Don’t even get me started on the clickbait.

AI generated slop articles and reviews that have clear bias funded by the production companies of movies they are reviewing.

Please go back to the previous format of Screen Rant. It was quick and efficient. Now it's one channel at a time; this is slow and cumbersome. I rarely use screen rant anymore.

This was single handedly the dumbest article I have ever read. I cannot believe there are people who are this stupid alive today. How can you manage to complete tasks such as breathing and holding your molecules into a shape?

Lacking in inclusivity and diversity

Awful content, clearly AI driven articles but somehow worse written than anything I've seen AI churn out. Clickbait headlines. Embarrassing website overall.

Clickbait, ragebait and activism articles, likely written by AI. The site is no longer worth going to. I've seen a lot of credible evidence that a lot of their writers have been replaced by AI writers that push out one of the three types of articles listed above. You can test this yourself, ask Grok or ChatGPT to analyse one of thier articles and confirm if it was written by an AI. It'll come back as yes. Look up some of their journalists that wrote the article, look at their lack of past workplaces. Look at their near non-existent social media presence.

The articles are lacking any sort of purpose or deeper complexity e.g. "some say that star wars is good", "many credible sources think that this was a Oscar winning performance", like where's the proof of this? Where's the quote from someone influential and worth listening to? Where's the weight behind this article to make it worth reading?

Do yourself a favour and block them from your news feeds. So that your algorithms will give you a better news source.
