What a relief to find Givebutter after the Flipcause fiasco!

Last Saturday morning, Dec. 27, we learned why we have had no luck extracting our funds from Flipcause since May. They were served a cease and desist order and filed bankruptcy last month. Scary stuff to end the year with. Then in steps GiveButter who had set aside small grants to help many non-profits stuck in a similar situation. Givebutter verified our non-profit the same day (a holiday weekend) and by Monday we were getting our website up again courtesy of a discount Givebutter had arranged with Squarespace. We are so impressed with the fantastic support and service!

Absolute frauds

Authorized a charge for $33. Was charged $192.70. The product that arrived was not the one I ordered. It took almost two months and several calls to CartPanda to get a return authorization number AND they don't even cover return shipping for a product I did not buy. The refund has STILL not been received. Worst customer service ever. Check your bank statements closely if you do business with them. They claim not to have any details about this case but they have seven pages of emails in their possession.

This is not a family-friendly airline. I have taken flights with their very restrictive Saver fares many times and have no issue with the rules, but this week my mother-in-law fell while I was on the way to the airport to take a Saver flight and had to divert to the hospital instead of taking my flight or its return. Alaska would not accept hospital records or anything else as evidence of a family emergency to credit any part of my $600 fare, saying they give no refund for any reason. Emergencies happen and next time I will be flying with an airline that recognizes that. I hope the $600 was worth it to Alaska to lose a customer of many decades!

Just don't grow or thrive

We really tried to make these trees work -- several hundred dollars' worth over three summers. Three are struggling and the rest died despite careful attention to instructions. Bought the replacement guarantee, and so they replaced three of them, but those died also and were not replaced as we kept trying to make them work and did not call back by the deadline. Very nice customer support but all they offered was a 30% coupon to buy more trees. Done throwing good money after bad!

Terrible experience. Stay far away.

Diamond Resorts added all kinds of valuable promotions to our contract, then sold to Hilton, and now all the promotions have magically disappeared. In the last 18 months we have called 15 different people at HGV at over 20 different numbers and emails to recover these weeks. Hours and hours of wasted time. Crickets. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this outfit, which is an embarrassment to the Hilton name. If by some miracle they ever fix this, I will revise my review.

Having issues...

I am having the same issues as one of the other reviewers here. They called us; we assumed they were from the timeshare company and they did not state otherwise, but apparently they are a different company based on the marketing information they sent us. We don't know how they got our information from the timeshare company. I asked to be sent the terms of what they were proposing by email. I was told it would be sent and it still has not arrived; only a promotional marketing piece. We were not told anything about a "verification" process and they say below that they are not willing to provide written details in advance. Big red flag there. By phone, the terms are to pay several hundred dollars up front to get more back when they sell the weeks, so I don't understand why they don't just take the "commission" fee out of the weeks they sell if they are that confident about selling the weeks, just like real realtors do. How they have access to our weeks I do not know. If anything changes, I will change my review.

We understand your concerns. Details of the program are submitted in a rental release form, which is submitted once you go through verification. Only a real estate agent is able to take the commission from payment. The funds are to activate weeks for rental. When representatives contact you, they do inform you that we are PPM and provide our contact information, which you can reference in the email you received. So tired of excessive fees being…

So tired of excessive fees being charged and no other way offered to buy tickets. Particularly for a charity event. Boo on any host who signs up with etix.

Try anyone but Holiday

I have tried many vendors but this is my first venture with Holiday. It could not have gone worse. I emailed the company that a storm was due to bring 2-3 feet of snow upon my arrival and could we cancel with a refund or at least defer the reservation 24 hours. No answer all weekend until Monday morning, when the answer was "No refund, too bad for you." Try ANYONE else. They would not even defer 24 hours till the storm had passed.

We already informed you with our cancellation policy and why a refund would not be possible. We understand that you are disappointed that we cannot process a refund for your cancelled reservation, but we must strictly adhere to our terms, which state that no refund will be processed if the cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the pick-up time.

Serious security flaw with this app

Serious security flaw with this app: you sign up to connect your business bank account to the app, but it insists on connecting and "having access to" ALL other accounts you may have at that bank -- mortgage, car loan, unrelated business, etc. You would think a Canadian firm would be a little more attuned to privacy than that. Wave, it is a great app, but FIX THE SECURITY AND PRIVACY ISSUES. You have NO business accessing any account other than the one we authorize. Oh yes -- and there is NO ONE at Wave to contact about it by any means.

Cancellation fees!?!?

I rented a car, and then got a confirmation saying "cancellation fees will apply." What cancellation fees? Especially in the middle of the coronavirus lockdown? Still trying to figure out what this is about.

As bad an experience as can be imagined.

We had six sites hacked through a common Hostgator portal. Hostgator encouraged us to hire Sitelock to fix it. They charged a ridiculous amount of money and did not fix it as the sites kept getting hacked week after week, and then we had TWO problems -- hacked sites and excessive charges from Sitelock. ZERO customer support after lots of promises from sales rep Melanie Shewmaker that she would "always be there" for us. Never answered an email. A complete ripoff. Shame on Hostgator for promoting this affiliation.

Very mixed review.

One star for poor communication from the visa service. Paid a very high amount for one-day processing of two visas being delivered to two addresses. Did not get the fedex label in time, the person designated as our contact never picked up the phone, the order number never posted to my online account so no way to track online, no one around to answer the phone after limited business hours -- it was a real nail-biting experience wondering where everything was in process. But they ultimately DID deliver two very short turnaround visas, so five stars for that. I would use them again because they did deliver ultimately. I just would know next time not to expect any decent customer support.
