The off-kilter feeling never seemed to escape your body. Though you had never been a party animal, you could at least find some enjoyment in attending the functions held by friends, peers, or wherever your friends had dragged you off it. With it being Halloween weekend in your senior year of university, all of your friends pledged to make it the most memorable of all. The original plan was to spend each night out partying until the morning, sleeping all day, and doing it again.
However, on the third night, you find yourself just out of it. Your friends had been fantastic - hyping you up and hosting a great pre-game. But as you looked around crowded rooms at faces that you had seen the previous two nights, the usual satisfying mixture of booze and dancing didn’t linger. Sure, you could indulge further, but the typical two tequila shots were really all you wanted to settle for.
As an avid book and show HOTD Aemond Targaryen stan, I curated a playlist of songs I believe that he would *actually* listen to on a regular basis. Some of the Aemond playlists on Spotify have felt a little idealistic rather than fully realistic as to what Aemond might listen to in our modern world. Please enjoy this selection that I regularly update and tailor :)

summary: while seeking safe passage down the Kingsroad to Dragonstone, you travels come to a halt.
word count: 1.5k
a/n: i would consider a part 2 if people are interested
warnings: AFAB reader, mentions of violence and death
The journey thus far had been so silent with hardly any issues arising. Twelve men at your aid - six Stark men and six Queen’s Guard - were ready to lay down their lives to safely deliver you to Dragonstone. After the eldest of Rhaenyra’s sons came to call upon your brother in haste, an alliance was formed through the most sworn occasion. A marriage between the Queen’s firstborn and Cregan Stark’s only sister would tie your houses together.
Cregan and Rhaenyra had reached such a favorable outcome for the people whom they cared about most. Still, Cregan understood the dangers that came with swearing an oath to the Black council. If the Green’s went North, he did not want you to fall into their capture. As such, an agreement was made that the young Lady Stark was welcome to reside on Dragonstone, within the sacred walls of House Targaryen.

“And may the Mother and Father watch over us as we walk in light…” The prayer rolled off your tongue with a finish. With a nod of your head, you finally rose from your spot at the altar.
The High Septon bid a dismissal as the halls of the sept began to clear. Your mother linked arms with you, serving as your guide through the crowd. She kept a warm smile on her face, nodding to both nobles and peasants alike. Though your father was just behind you, not showing the same warmth to the general public as your mother.
