samantha is one of the original historical dolls who’s from turn of the century new york and she’s rich but she learns about child labor and why it’s bad. so what they’ve done is create a descendant of one of their most iconic white girl dolls who is also Mexican American. I think it’s a power move. and raquel’s story is about saving a baby dolphin which should be beloved by all little girls
