i have not fully watched a qsmp stream for a few months now since the admins came out about what was happening behind the scenes and when i did, it was for the eggs.

they helped me through a rough time this past year, and encouraged me to learn new languages and get back into drawing. the only reason i can talk to most of my new friends online is because richas inspired me to learn portuguese.

and with the news that they are leaving the server, i am both happy that they are off to find better opportunities (that will hopefully treat them better than the qsmp management) and am fighting back tears at their goodbyes :(

not to be parasocial but i am devastated for bad he always cared so deeply for the eggs and he sounds under the weather today :(

anyone familiar enough with minecraft mods to know if it would be possible to create a world download of the original qsmp map (or at least a chunk large enough to cover all their bases, given it’s size) that would keep everything intact even if you didn’t have the modpack? or would the only bits that survive be base game?

anyways, my personal interpretation is that pomme and dapper (being young dragons) reached the the point where their instincts demanded they “fly the nest” and so the two of them decided to set off to new adventures, happy and free from the federation & ready to face the world

(with many goodbye hugs and tears and promises to visit from time to time to their parents)

as messy as it is right now, i’m so grateful for qsmp for rekindling my love for art and minecraft, and allowing me to meet so many new streamers and their communities (oi rapaziada oi ordem) that i now find great comfort in. it’s been an amazing experience to genuinely widen my horizons in watching streamers that don’t speak the languages i do! there is so much love out there. qsmp inspired me to get back into language learning, e agora eu posso dizer que eu falo (mais ou menos) duas línguas !!
