That scene where renni and finn try to kill silco is not really about renni and finn right, it’s a test of sevika’s loyalty—and I go back and forth on whether she was actually tempted to kill silco there, because there’s a shot of her face where she looks as if she’s about to, and he mentions loyalty, and he bares his neck, he allows her to kill him if she wants, and her face crumples & she can’t quite bring herself to do it. I think silco is not afraid of renni trying something like that again because sevika confirms to him that she still has his back. She’s what guarantees his physical safety in that place. The only way to get to him is through her (Jinx doesn’t count in that arithmetic ofc). Sevika is the red right hand and so on. Jinx is the brains she is the brawn silco is the anchor around which they both turn toward some end he promises is in store for them all. But sevika doesn’t even know i think that he was going to give it all up for jinx. I wish i wasn’t compelled by any of this but alas. The insane pseudofamily unit got to me
