Trigger/Content Tags

I try to tag most common triggers. I was tagging everything with both the base word as well as a TW version, but it’s time consuming and I’m not going to do it anymore. Here is a list of things I basically always tag.

If you’d like me to add any tags to my repertoire, all you have to do is dm me or send me an ask! I am more likely to be diligent in tagging specific things if I get messaged by a follower and told that it’s a trigger for them. As of right now, almost all of my warning tags are just to be generally conscious of popular triggers. Because of this, I might miss one here or there. If that’s a problem for you, please inform me of tags you want diligence on. Anything I’ve been messaged about will get italicized in the list below, meaning I’m watching out for those things like a hawk. If you would like me to tag things with a personalized tag so that triggering content isn’t displayed in tag warnings and so that your specific triggers aren’t visible to others, request that and I’ll make a private tag for you.

Any posts that mention these subjects briefly, with very little descriptive content will be tagged with the appropriate tag, space, ‘mention’ (e.g. incest mention).

  • Incest - includes anything with discussion of incest
  • Pedophilia - for anything with discussion of pedophilia
  • Noncon - includes anything involving sexual assault or abuse. I’m using it as a catch-all
  • Abuse - for any posts discussing emotional or physical abuse via family, romantic partners, superiors, etc. (Does not include sexual abuse. That will be tagged with ‘rape’ if it’s applicable.)
  • Assault - for any posts discussing or portraying assault in any of it’s forms. This differs from abuse in that it’s likely referencing an irregular occurrence
  • Police - for any posts with descriptions or portrayals of police, police actions, police abusing people, etc.
  • Racism - for anything with discussion or blatant portrayals of racism
  • Homophobia - for anything with discussion or blatant portrayals of homophobia
  • Transphobia - for anything with discussion or blatant portrayals of transphobia or NBphobia
  • Ableism - for anything with discussion or blatant portrayals of ableism, including ableism in regard to mental health
  • Classism - for anything with discussion or blatant portrayals of classism
