Ancient One’s Reach

Weapon (any bow), rare

This weapon does not require ammunition and creates its own, you can choose to deal Psychic damage in place of the weapon’s normal damage type.

Lessons of the Past. When you score a Critical Hit with this weapon you deal an extra 2d8 Psychic damage, and the target must make a DC 14 Intelligence saving throw or have Stunned condition until the end of your next  turn.

Tasha’s Hideous Ladder

Wondrous Item, rare, cursed

“This short ladder only has two rungs on it. It’s cobbled together from misshapen and twisted branches from a petrified forest. The sticks are lashed together with a muscle-like sinew from an unidentified creature.“

You can take a Magic action while touching this ladder to change its length. It can be no smaller than 2 feet tall, and no longer than 120 feet tall.

Cursed. When a creature ends their turn on this ladder they must make DC 16 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, it has the Prone and Incapacitated condition as it laughs uncontrollably, remembering a hilarious joke or funny moment from its past. This effect lasts until the end of the creature’s next turn, or until it takes damage.

Regardless of whether the target fails or succeeds, you learn what is most on the target’s mind at that moment, and for the next 1 hour you can detect the direction to that creature (but not the distance) so long as they are on the same plane of existence as you. Deep Lord’s Poison

Poison (Injury or Ingested), uncommon

“This poison was made from the mucus of an ancient aboleth. It’s a murky green color with a thick yellow build-up that settles at the bottom.”

A creature subjected to the Deep Lord’s Poison through injury takes 2d6 Acid damage, and makes a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or it cannot regain Hit Points for 1d4 rounds, and takes an additional 1d6 Acid damage at the start of each of its turns.

Injury. Injury poison can be applied as a Bonus Action to a weapon, a piece of ammunition, or similar object. The poison remains potent until delivered through a wound or washed off. A creature that takes Piercing or Slashing damage from an object coated with the poison is exposed to its effects.

If a creature ingests the Deep Lord’s Poison, they must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or have the Poisoned condition for 1 hour. While poisoned the target’s skin becomes slimy, they can breathe underwater, and whenever they regain Hit Points, unless they are in water they only regain half the normal amount. For every 10 minutes they are not in water, they take 1d12 Acid damage.

Ingested. A creature must swallow an entire dose of ingested poison to suffer its effects. The dose can be delivered in food or a liquid. Your GM may decide that a partial dose has a reduced effect, such as allowing Advantage on the saving throw or dealing only half as much damage on a failed save.

Performance Stage: The Wizard Slate

Bastion upgrade, rare

“This stage has an interchangeable backdrop that showcases breathtaking vistas of the outerplanes. There is a small area behind the stage for props, instruments, and other supplies that performers may require between sets.”

Performance Options. When you issue the Performance order to this facility, you or its hireling begin work on a performance. Rehearsals and other preparations take 7 days and cost no money. If a character hasn’t expended their Stage die before gaining more, their remaining dice are lost.

Performance: Comedy. On a successful performance, you can cast the Tasha’s Hideous Laughter spell (spell save DC 14 or your own, whichever is higher) without expending a spell slot, and requiring only Vocal components. Once you successfully cast this spell on a creature, you cannot do so again.
