Its so cute how excited the cats are in our new place. There’s at least 2 windows in every room so all the natural light from that and the amount of boxes they get to crawl on has been very nice for them
i generally like to think i’m someone who can attempt to understand other people’s point of view, even if it’s misguided. however that stance has been challenged ever since we adopted one of our cats — because i just can’t comprehend any universe where he would’ve been passed over. he was returned to the shelter twice and rejected by would-be owners because he was “scary” or ugly (?). I can’t stress enough to you guys that he’s the most beautiful animal i’ve ever owned. not just that he’s the sweetest baby boy ever, but genuinely i think he’s the prettiest cat to ever be on this plant and i won’t take no for an answer. i own the best looking cat to ever exist. it’s fact.
i can’t wrap my head around it. he’s stunning. he’s an angel. he whistles when he purrs. he’s blind in one eye. he lets the smaller cat “win” all of their play fights. we got him for HALF the adoption price because NO ONE wanted him. i struggle to believe people wouldn’t be breaking down doors to get this boy. what.
