I finally finished the other half of the backlog to How Are We Still Friends?! You know what that means…

Because the main course is being posted in a couple of hours! Starting today, I’ll be posting the chapters twice a week, which should last me for about… two months and two weeks before I run out of rations. (I’m still using food metaphors, btw-)

If you haven’t read the first part, I wouldn’t say you’re necessarily required to read it in order to understand the sequel, but there will be moments where context is necessary. (But because it was my first fic, the quality is a bit questionable… but it was made with love! And passion! And pain. Lots of pain /j)

So like… I may have written a Megalinka oneshot-

I wanted to write something about this ship for a while, but I couldn’t think of any good ideas until last night… And that idea led to where we are today.

I’m working on my main projects, but I just took a short break to write this one lol. I hope you guys like it!

Okay, I’ve been wanting to write about this for a while, and I now have the chance to do it! (Yippee!!)

This post will be covering the main conflict that happens in the sequel to How Are We Friends? A very brief explanation of the AU is that Bass becomes friends with Mega Man, along with Roll, Proto Man, and Kalinka.

OKAY - now that I’ve got that very short explanation out of the way, I’m just going to go straight into it. (Visuals will be included!)

But as a word of caution, this post is going to contain descriptions of body horror, which might make some people uncomfortable. If you’re one of those people, please read carefully or feel free to scroll past!

(Roll is on the left, Kalinka is on the right)

I said in this post that I was going to be doing alternative designs for Roll and Kalinka, and here they are! (I do have one more for Kalinka, but I’m still trying to get the design finalized…)

In the sequel to How Are We Friends? Roll is going to have to develop her own armor to help fight temporarily alongside Blues, Bass, and Rock due to a… “certain threat” that I’ll have to make a separate post about later. The most I’m willing to reveal right now is that it’s a precursor to the maverick virus. (I’ll post Kalinka’s other design with that post, as they are connected.)

With her armor, I took some inspiration from both Proto Man’s design and the Mega Man OVA: “Mega Man: Upon a Star” (All three episodes are uploaded onto YouTube if you want to check it out!)

Also, super random fact: I like to think that Kalinka helped design the armor as well. They were probably just hanging out one day and started drawing different designs in a sketchbook together 😭

Until We Meet Again

Hey guys! This is the last AU I wanted to talk about, and I’m glad I’m finally getting the chance to do so! (I had to write a few chapters, which took me a few days, but they’re done! So now I can talk about this!)

For those of you who don’t know, I’m making posts about each AU that I want to work on, but I can’t decide which one to start first. So, I figured telling you guys about it, and then making a poll afterward seemed like the right way to go! After I finish making this post, I’ll probably release the poll soon after, and take it from there.
