The Stranger Times by C. K. McDonnell

what I wanted: an engaging, magical read

what I got: pretty much that!

what I thought: This was a fun read because it has a good balance of mystery and humor! I liked the cast of characters and the fact that there are layers to them as well. I rate this 4 out of 5 painkillers for magical headaches.

okay the bts tour dates have completely cured me of my delusions. i am not fighting for one of two dates in london of all places

✧ reading: the hollow by agatha christie & cecilia by frances burney

✧ last movie: the thursday murder club. i’ve never read the books but i needed something cosy to watch and it fit the bill. it was decent enough

✧ last series: i haven’t finished a series in a while but i’m still making my way through the x-files and i’m watching series two of the night manager. i forgot how attractive tom hiddleston can be

✧ last song: haegeum by agust d

✧ sweet or salty: sweet

✧ coffee or tea: tea. and lots of it

✧ working on: knitting (a pair of socks and several swatches for cable jumpers) and embroidering a tote bag.

Today I finished my knitting project in a lovely Chinese-bookshop cafe! I throughly enjoyed a cinnamon latte and then got tempted by the mango yakult soda ☕️🥤🤎
