At Keepers Cottage, we offer spacious, comfortable boarding accommodation in our custom-built kennel block. Each kennel features a cosy indoor sleeping area and a large, covered outdoor run, where your dog can enjoy fresh air and stretch their legs all day long. We understand that many dogs prefer the comfort of their pack, so our kennels are designed to accommodate more than one dog, allowing you to board your pets together. For those with larger breeds, we have three extra-large kennels that can easily house up to three big dogs or two extra-large breeds, ensuring everyone has plenty of room. No two dogs are the same, and at Keepers Cottage, we take the time to understand your dog’s individual personality. We specialise in reactive dogs, exempt breeds, nervous, anxious and aggressive dogs. We accept any size and breed of dog, any temperament and demeanour. We cater for short and long stays. They have access to a play area, here they can have one to one attention with the staff. We also lead walk on a large field every day. You can call in any day, between the hours of 11am and 3pm. Call in for a chat and we can answer any queries or simply put your mind at rest. All our staff are experienced, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and have a passion for all dogs. At Keepers cottage you will be met with a friendly and warm welcome. Updates on your dogs stay will be uploaded with pictures and videos to social media. Updates can be given via email or facebook/instagram message, putting your mind at ease whilst you're away. Someone is on site 24/7 and all pooches are checked in the evening as well as being covered by Cctv. Our premises are secure and have 24/7 recording of Cctv for your peace of mind. Located on the edge of Knowsley Viilage in Merseyside.

It was my dog’s first time in kennels and I was a bit nervous, but the team but my mind at rest straight away. They were amazing with him and gave me regular updates with photos so I could see how happy he was. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We're missing teddy, he was such a little character and we cant wait until he's back!!!
I collected my dog and whilst I chatted my stressy, nervous dog led down on the office floor for a nap….that’s how comfortable she is there. She is a Rommie and has issues and can react a little when frightened. The team took time to befriend her and she loves them and her stay.
If she wasn’t happy she wouldn’t be wagging her tail and jumping up at the staff for cuddles.
Friendly people
, excellent carers and will work at your dog’s pace and only do what your dog is comfortable with.
Zeppo is a dog not a number here and they care for her in a way that suits her not them! I take her favourite treats etc and they are very accommodating.
Heartily recommend! Zeppo has just finished her 2nd week stay but it is her 4th stay.
If you think you can’t find a kennel because your dog needs specialist care then look no further

My dog, Albert has been with Keepers cottage on 2 separate occasions. We took him for the day and the staff were absolutely brilliant. The kennels are well kept and clean. He then stayed for 5 days after his first visit. The staff again were brilliant. I would message to see how he was getting on & I would get messages telling me how he had been and also with pictures!
We feel at complete ease leaving our dog with Keepers Cottage. He will be back before the summer time!

Rosa is a very nervous soul we rescued from Manchester & Cheshire shelter. Keepers were magnificent with her. If you have a dog, nervous, or boisterous etc. Always be honest. They will do everything they can to make their stay fun. She has stayed twice now. Her recent stay was these past 2 wks. The staff & owner are absolutely brilliant. The kennels are soundproofed with heat lamps.Would highly recommend. You also get regular pooch updates whilst you are away.

If you're thinking of putting your dog or dogs in kennels then Keepers Cottage has got to be your 1st choice. We have a very scared/reactive dog and some kennels won't take her, even though once she gets to know you she's fine, Keepers cottage give her a chance and she had a wonderful stay with her sisters Suzie n Raven🥰, would defo recommend them👌
