Charges extra as 'taxes' but then forces you to pay again or parcel is destroyed and you are NOT entitled to a refund!
I had been using Stylekorean for a while to purchase orders (2yrs+) without many issues (sometimes items arrive damaged or broken and mostly this was sorted out through a refund in store credit). However, the issues with my most recent orders are too much!
I am based in the UK and with the UK, when you select shipping, Stylekorean will add a VAT charge on top of the item total. So I expect not need to pay VAT when receiving my parcels, however, my last couple of orders (I stock up during the Xmas sales), I pay for the order with the VAT surcharge as per normal, but when they arrive in the UK, DHL sends me a VAT bill and holds the parcels unless the bill is paid (20% +£11 handling fee).
I have clarified with DHL this is due to Stylekorean filling in the customs forms as VAT is unpaid and will be paid by the customer (me!). I explain to them the issue and they confirm that I should contact the seller to correct the customs forms as the bill is only VAT related.
I then contact Stylekorean and they keep sending the same copied and pasted response that the customers are responsible for customs duties. I have contacted them multiple times now about this issue and provided them with screenshots and proof and explained to them the situation using the Chatbot (they do not have an email or phone number to call) and every single response is the same copied and pasted or it is entirely ignored and they mark as 'case closed'.
Stylekorean policies say that if the parcel is not delivered or destroyed by the courier, I will not be entitled to a refund or replacement products.
I will never order from Stylekorean again and I will be filing a charge back with Paypal of all the screenshots and evidence I have. AVOID ordering! Customer service is terrible and they will charge you 'taxes' that you have to double pay.

Do not order from StyleKorean! Ordered Advent Calendar ($180 US) on November 7. Received order confirmation email with FedEx tracking number November 10. FedEx tracking showed that by November 12 package was in Newark NJ airport with a status of “Clearance delay - Import”. That status has not changed! It’s been two months since ordering what was to be a Christmas present. I have contacted StyleKorean customer service numerous times by email and phone without any resolution. I have now requested a refund since Christmas has past and that has not happened. StyleKorean has no respect for their customers.

I got recommended by a friend to use Stylekorean to order cosmetics. My first order was awful. It’s been 5 days, and my order is still in “Preparing Product” stage, and i did not expect it to take this long to ship out. They said i can cancel it if i use the chatbot, but after I asked them for a cancellation, they did not even response to it. They keep using the auto message back to me. What’s the point of chat bot if you are not responding to me. First and the last use with you Stylekorean. I don’t know when i will be getting my package.

Their support team is very slow to respond to any issues, I had issues with my order, where they cancelled some of the items due to them being out of stock and am still waiting on them to refund me more than a moth later, whilst in their email they said it would take 14 days which in itself is outrageous. The order itself arrived well packaged and in one piece.

It’s sad that I’m gonna have to say goodbye to this company. I’ve been their loyal customer since 2023. This holiday season, I paid for my order but never processed. The chatbot is very rude during my inquiry. I’m trying to get my refund but no reply from customer service. The customer service email through the PayPal account is not working because of a failed message everytime! They also deleted that order number in my account. I feel like something sketchy is going on. Don’t they care about their customers at all? So sad to experience this. I’m going to file a dispute. I hope this doesn’t happen to you.
Customs? Long delivery? Blame American Customs
First off, the selection is extensive! You're not going to find this huge inventory at these prices anywhere else, unless it ends up on Amazon (and there's a lot of counterfeits, so...).
I too have had the same issue as most of these other negative reviews with orders taking FOREVER to arrive. This is not their fault. Nor is it UPS' (or whoever your carrier is, it's usually UPS with StyleKorean)...this is all tied to tariffs. And the huge paperwork nightmare of ordefring anything internationally.
I ordered back in the beginning of September. StyleKorean shipped it out with 3 days, but it's been held up. At UPS. For over 3 months now. Ordering anything international to the US is a nightmare, but you can't blame this company for it sorry.
To their credit, I reached out to them after month 3 and they immediately provided me a refund. No customer service? Sorry but, that was amazing customer service for me: refunding me for something out of their control.
Anyway, rant over. I love ordering from here, wish American policies weren't garbage so it would be easier. If you live in the US, just expect it to take a couple weeks to a few months.

Received damaged items. I’ve been trying to resolve this with customer service for o we three weeks. They ignored my first message, and while they did initially reply to my second message, they’re now ignoring that too. I’m about to change back the order with my credit card company because they refuse to help.

Worse website for ordering international, i have ordered stuff Thailand and Japan and never had problems on those sites. I couldn't even get passed on the checkout as it kept on giving me Paypal error's, got tired of re-trying so i logged out and emptied my cart. I will just get the Medicube Body Wash from Amazon.

I placed an order believing the shipping was free, only to find out that the courier (DHL) demanded an additional $117 (≈ AED 430) upon delivery. These included “administration” and “inspection” fees that were never disclosed when I paid for my order.
The seller shipped the parcel as Duties and Taxes Unpaid (DTU) without telling me, meaning I - not the seller -had to pay all customs, VAT, and courier handling charges on arrival. When I contacted them, they simply referred me to DHL instead of resolving the issue.
I placed an order believing shipping was free, but when my package arrived, DHL demanded an extra $117 (≈ AED 430) in hidden fees. These charges — customs, VAT, and multiple “administration” fees — were never disclosed at checkout.
The seller shipped the parcel as Duties and Taxes Unpaid (DTU) without informing me, which automatically made me responsible for all import and courier costs. When I contacted customer service, their response was unprofessional and dismissive, simply telling me I had to pay instead of helping or offering any solution.
This is not honest or transparent business. Customers deserve full clarity about all costs before purchase, not surprise bills on delivery.

I ordered 2 times.It’s been 2 months I have never received my packages yet. They list my orders on their app they are completely delivered but the tracking on ups not moving nowhere. Reached to their customer support, they said already sent me compensation email and it pass deadline to respond so I just need to wait for delivery

I have ordered maybe 8 times now and each time the parcel has been delivered on time usually a week. A lot of the negative reviews are due to the courier service or the country customs which is not really in the control of this company.
The products are always well packaged and genuine products. They have good deals and I can’t fault them. Most people will only do reviews if they have had a bad experience so it skews the results.
I’m writing this (no I don’t work for them) because you are missing out if you don’t try them, but hey if you want to pay double the price somewhere else then that’s up to you.
