Sooo marketing never gave me the copy for our website… Boss told me to just "make something up" because I'm "good with computers", as if that makes me a content writer. I'm supposed to write all this at the desk, in between helping customers?? As if I ever get a break at this place. Ha ha.
Come visit us, or don't, but I don't want to hear any more complaining because you want to do your escape room FORTY-FIVE minutes after your registered start time. If you show up ON TIME and actually READ and LISTEN to the prompts then it'll be worth your money! If you don't, then it won't be! Stop making it my problem!! I'm ten hours into my shift and busy trying to get people to stop feeling each other up in the Wonderland room!!!

ABOUT THE GAME
Unfortunately, you've arrived late for your appointment at The Greatest Escape(room)!; even more unfortunately, you're just in time to see the overworked employee at the counter finally snap after dealing with one rude customer too many.
Reborn as the Game Master, she uses her newfound power to send you to the escape rooms of her workplace–and while the settings are fantastical...
The consequences of failure are terribly real.
Solve puzzles, crack codes, do distressing amounts of math, and escape–or die!
Note: Rollback is disabled because it messes with too many things. Sorry!

I like this game, but.. is there even a good end? I finish the second room and it says it's a bad end and to retry the room but I completed the room, even followed the walkthrough. What am I doing wrong?
Which screen are you seeing when you finish the second room (and when you get looped back)?
It just says "Bad End: Last Shift", and gives the option to try the room again or go to main menu. I've attempted both options, retry room doesn't seem to be any different and going to the main menu/restarting the game is the same as always. I did follow the guide for the room and am quite sure I finished it... I didn't get looped back anywhere, if I was supposed to then that's probably where I went wrong.
Hmmm, the Last Shift end is tied to dialogue options- I’ll have Robo take a look at the code, and do a test run when I’m able. I’m so sorry it’s locking you out!

the app isn't launching at all huhu - it shows "The application TheGreatestEscapeBuildMac" can't be opened."
Hi there! We’ve been trying to find a good answer for you.
Apparently, it’s a known bug that sometimes Mac builds don’t open via direct downloading in the Itch browser for some people. The only tested workaround we’re aware of right now is opening the game via the Itch app, which is generally safer anyway. That should make the game work for you whenever a direct download doesn’t.
