Not to be tinfoil hat, conspiracy brained but funny how Rap and Hip Hop got to be the most popular genre in the world and magically the genre starts to get silenced and deprioritized like 4 years after they start giving Trump shit. Kind of like Rock music going through the same thing 4 years after it started giving George W Bush shit.
Which, considering it takes about 4 years for an album to properly be planned and finished, I’m sure it is coincidence…
(And now Country is feeling artificially propped up like it was after 9/11 and Rock is becoming a Boot-licker genre too.)
