They are all included in our standard package but on top of compliance we also provide advice and support as part of the service which is where we add the value. We also do ad-hoc personal tax returns (self assessments) for individuals. Accrue Accounting are FreeAgent and Xero specialists. We can help you with setting up or migrating from other softwares and being there to support with any queries you may have. We also provide software training. Although we are based in Poole, we service clients nationwide. Edinburgh being our furthest client. We still like to speak to our clients face to face so always encourage video calls, but will cater to calls, emails and even WhatsApp.

I’ve been using Accrue Accounting for just over two years now, and honestly I couldn’t be happier. From the very first call with Tom, right through to working with the wider team — Chris, Ricky, Coral and Charlotte — the experience has been spot on.
They’re all incredibly easy to talk to, down to earth, and genuinely care about helping. It never feels like a typical accountant–client relationship; it’s much more personal and feels like you’re dealing with friends who really know their stuff.

Truly Exceptional
As others have said, Accrue is exceptional. I have owned and run a multitude of different businesses and Limited Companies for over 20 years and have never had such a sense of financial support from any of my previous accountants. They are always available to help
I moved to Accrue Accounting as they had been recommended to me from an ex colleague for their 'personal touch'. I have a dedicated accountant assigned to me, he is always available if I have questions, but even when I needed advice recently and he was on annual leave, other colleagues supported me in his absence. This is so much better than the experience I had with other accountants.

The way it should be done
I came to Accrue Accounting a little over a year ago after becoming completely disillusioned with the poor client service offered by my previous accountant.
The difference has been like night and day — aside from being highly professional, well-organised, friendly and attentive, the Accrue team clearly understand the pressures of running a small business and how much the advice and support of a good accountant can make a huge difference.
Accrue showed no fear in taking over my neglected accounts and licking them into shape. While I have been impressed with everyone from the team I have had dealings with, I particularly appreciate the provision of a single contact as ongoing manager of my accounting needs. Special mention must therefore go to Greg Timson, who, as well as keeping me on the straight and narrow with tax returns and associated admin, has listened patiently to my (often repeated) queries regarding rules and regulations and always answered patiently and with a smile.
Well done to all at Accrue for showing excellent, personalised customer service is still a perfectly viable business model in 2025!

Also the Free Agent system where the accounts are processed is second to none. Also special mention to Greg as he is always avaialble for advice when needed.

Easy tax returns
The ongoing, online process of maintaining and submitting my annual business and personal tax accounts is now so much easier using the Contrast Accounting service. I used to have to set aside several weeks every Autumn, but not any more.
