Consumers beware of Culligan and ProOne!
Consumer beware! Stay clear of this company who bought out ProOne and don’t purchase products from either company! As a long-standing customer, I bought several of the new G3.0 Gravity Filters from ProOne just before Culligan acquired the company. After the filters rapidly failed because they turned out to be a defective product, I called ProOne who has stopped responding to customers and refuses to answer the phones regarding customer concerns, so I then contacted them via email. Subsequently, after receiving no contact from ProOne, I contacted Culligan, since they are now ProOne’s parent company, and spoke with a representative to request a refund. She said she would forward my request on to the individual in charge of the ProOne accounts. After contacting both companies, I received automated emails stating that they had received my messages and that a representative would be in contact with me, however, I have received no further contact from ProOne or Culligan, nor the refund I am requesting. The G3.0 filters are faulty and if you search the internet, you will see numerous other similar customer complaints about these filters. As the new parent company for ProOne, Culligan owes it to the loyal customers of ProOne to make amends by offering refunds for the defective products. This is no way to treat the customers of a company that you purchase if you want them to continue on with your company. Prior to the acquisition by Culligan, ProOne was always an upstanding company, and I never had any difficulty in contacting them or reaching a resolution on a concern. I also filed a compliant with the Better Business Bureau, however, they failed to respond to them, as well.

I regret the day I made the original phonecall to Culligan. The first cooler broke within 2 weeks, it took a month to get hold of them to arrange a replacement, and that was only because left a 1* review here so they got in touch with me. The replacement was clearly an old model they had laying around. I requested they collect this heap of junk and cancel our agreement, which they agreed to. Now they are repeatedly sending me invoices for the cooler and for water we haven't had. Their phone line options don't work, and their emails are no reply. Please, please just sort yourselves out and leave me alone.

Scam
After making a purchase which came short with several bottles missing, I then had to chase up the remainder of the order. This eventually came, which is not the reason however for this complaint. The complaint is due to the sheer amount of times I have been harassed from them for payment of the invoice, which was already paid before order arrived. I have told them to stop contacting me, but after 6 months I'm still getting these harassment calls for invoices that are not due. The only saving grace was I did not agree to them saving my card details, otherwise I'm sure they would have taking the money out themselves.

Where do I start...
About 3 to 4 months ago I ordered a water dispenser I was told I would receive enough notice when it will be delivered about two weeks of hearing absolutely nothing then out of the blue a driver was on the phone to me wanting to deliver the water dispenser, I said I'm not at home. I then said to the driver due to the lack of communication as I'm not home cancel my delivery I then spoke to culligan, they said sorry they understand..sorry order cancelled......
About a month or two later I received an invoice I phoned them up told them why am I receiving an invoice for something I never received after being on the phone fpr about 15 mins they cancelled my invoice again. And said sorry fpr the inconvenience, you will no longer receive invoices. The lady said now we have rectified can you remove the bad review lol
CULLIGAN ARE A JOKE
Now another month in I have now received two more invoices stating I OWE them £120, invoice is now marked in red... well they can shove that where the sun done shine. Wow this company is a joke.
Trust me people stay away even the driver phoned me saying they are having trouble

I was told one price for a filter change from the Culligan company out of NJ, Zane Filippone. I was clearly quoted when they tried to set up the appointment. I approved the amount and after the tech left the price was double without my approval. it was a complete surprise. I would beware of using this outlet and have the tech sign off to what was agreed before the appointment. they assumed no responsibility for this error.
Scammers
Scammers! They loot you for contract you create with them - I cancelled my contract in may last year - yet again received new invoice just today. Not easy to deal with them. Very bad customer service and bad organisation as you call hundred times - you have to start all over again as they don’t keep notes. Avoid at all costs.

Shockingly bad company
Terrible supplier, avoid at all costs. They took over our business water cooler contracts from Water Logik and it's been a shambles ever since. We had been getting charged £22 for a bottle of water and when I found out (after trying several times to get in touch with them), they said it's because we don't have a contract with them. We have contracts for 8 coolers across 4 offices and get invoiced on a monthly basis for the rental etc. Tried several times to deal with their customer service and even after hours and dealing with several different people, I was still getting told they had no record of us on their system. I sent copies of all of their invoices and copied in the complaints team as I had been trying to cancel the contracts for over 2 months and arrange uplift of the equipment. I have demanded they carry out a full investigation as I believe we are due hundreds of pounds from them. They also don't carry out any of the sanitisations we pay for. To top it all off, I just had a call from a Culligans driver saying he had us on a list to delivery a new water cooler today. Even he thought this was odd which is why he called to check. Absolute terrible company, zero organisation or communication. One of the worst I have ever dealt with. Use any other water cooler provider apart from them.
AVOID
AVOID - there reverse osmosis doesn't work, there is no quality standards and no one would be the wiser. It acts like it works but it does nothing to the water. Whether it is on or off, working or not, the water is the exact same quality per TDS testing. The fact that the unit functions while not purifying water proves zero quality control ... had this installed over a year ago and for all we know it never worked. Also they don't know how to install the system correctly. There unit is generic and cheap and they charge you to get out of contract.
Avoid these at all costs
Bought a mains connect chiller for £500. On delivery we installed ourselves. The water coming out was NOT chilled. I contacted them...
At this point I could write the Magna Carta about their level of total incompetance, confusion and complete disorganisation, but I'll keep it short.
Tried to get engineer site visit, was told 8 days.
Never happened
Rerang them, they didn't recognise the Order No on my Invoice. They said their system did not understand the format of my Order No.
Promised to ring back. They didnt
Rang again... Repeat of the above
This happened 3 times, then I decided to send machine back. I was very fortunate to speak this time with the 1 individual who could see how the confusion had happened. She sent return label, machine was returned and I was told 5 working days for refund
2 months down the line, no refund. Tried to speak to the person I had dealt with who was on holiday. The half wit that answered passed me on to 3 separate departments because he did not recognise my Order No!!!
2 weeks later spoke to the person who knew what was going on. She said their accounts were struggling to recognise my Order No but she had instructed them and now I would receive my full refund of £498
5 days later I received £24!!!!!!!
At this point I spoke to my contact to advise I would be getting my Bank to reclaim the full amount. She was very sympathetic and promised to get on to accounts department again.
I contacted my Bank and started the reclaim process.
As a side activity, I googled the mail address of the MD of Culligan UK.
Mailed him with all the details and the history of my dispute. He replied within 10 mins to say.... He can't help as get didn't recognise the Order No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thankfully, the only person with any degree of competence got back to me to confirm the refund would be paid in full, which eventually it was.
AVOID THESE LIKE THE PLAGUE unless you like sitting on the end of a phone line listing to completely inane piped music
A water company with no water
Not being able to provide substitutions after having consistantly low supply, using poor excuses like broken machinery, our company being outright ignored and our emails not being read due to actions missing critical details, standard quotes that are then retracted and made higher, constant miscommunication - I have never experienced such terrible customer service and unprofessionalism as I have done with this company.
You can try to ask for help, but they will never offer any as they are severely limited with what they can do.
I've sent emails consistantly for the past 3 months and not only have I not seen any improvement, but it seems to have become worse.
I have offered so many chances for this company to redeem themselves, but it doesn't seem like they have any desire to.

Terrible Communication and Business Practice
Terrible business practice with zero communication. I wish I can give this place zero stars. I started working with the Syracuse, NY office in the summer of 2022. If you are a business, they will NOT update you on auto-delivery, or when you are back on auto-delivery. Their so-called, Delivery Coordinator, will not update you via email unless you call. You will also have zero visibility on what's on your account or receipts that you were billed. I saw a transaction for double the monthly price and they said they never rec'd my empties. Well, whose job is to tell me that otherwise, I would've done it. Furthermore, I've been going back and forth with them since November 2, 2022 about an update on my delivery and had to call and follow up on my request just this past week, January 3rd. I then find out that I am scheduled for delivery and the driver is en route today! Now I'm running to my store so I can put out the empties. I hope they don't use their own service or they would be screwed!

Terrible delivery service. Terrible accounting. A nightmare to work with. They took money regularly via direct debit and then claimed that we never made any payments. Even after presenting bank statement showing that payments have been made, they continue to send final demands
