1 very slow shiping with very expensive price
I don’t tend to complain, however my experience with DHL Cyprus has been beyond criticism. I paid extra for express shipping, and my parcel has been stuck in Larnaca and is still stuck, since the 30th of October with zero progress.
When I asked why a newer parcel was processed immediately, their explanation was:
“The reason you received the shipment you ordered afterwards is because we try to clear the new ones in order to not be stuck as well in addition to the old ones.”
So because they can’t manage their backlog, older shipments get ignored? With this logic, am I supposed to get my parcel in 2026? Very “express” shipping.
Instead of fixing the issue or processing delays manually, they’re just waiting for their system to sort itself out, leaving paying customers with nothing but excuses.
-1* to DHL Cyprus for the worst experience with their "Express shipping" option.
Customer support awful like parrots reapeating same thing over again and blaming the government and not their 2 staff that works to pass the items for clearance. Slowest support on earth.
I'm sure they pass their friends and relatives packages without a single minute on hold.
I would have given ZERO * but it wasn't an option. My parcel has been here in Cyprus for over a week and no-one has bothered to notify me. And when I called their 'customer service' which should be renamed 'no customer service' I was told it's in the post office, I asked for clarification that it was in the post office ready to be picked up and she replied, I don't know. Isn't it her job to know? Isn't that the whole point of the TRACKING service? She offered me the telephone number of the post office (which we all know is a waste of time since they NEVER answer the phone or hang up on the rare occasions they do answer). So basically now it's down to me to find the parcel myself. Great customer service DHL - NOT!!!!!!!
The worse courier company ever, I pay express delivery and after 2 weeks been in Cyprus still waiting for delivery, and when I call them they don't know shit.
I paid for Express delivery to receive my package within 3 days. The package has been in Cyprus since October 29th, and today is November 12th. Every single day I call customer service and the customs department, stay on hold for over 20 minutes, only to be told the same thing: “Call us again tomorrow, you’ll probably receive it then.”
They keep blaming “system updates,” but this issue has been going on since mid-October. No one takes responsibility, they refuse to connect me with a supervisor or manager, and it’s just an endless circle of excuses. For a company that charges premium prices for “Express,” this level of service is disgusting and disgraceful.
Disgusting DHL IN CYPRUS!!!!! ALL THE TIME THE SAME PROBLEM !!!!!! NEVER EVER THE COURUIER IS COMING ON THE TIME SELECTED!!!!! AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS A NERVE TO SAY “WE DONT KNOW WHERE IS THE COURIER”!!!!! DISGUSTING!!!!! I HAVE TO SIT AND WAIT ALL DAY WHEN I SELECT THE SPECIFIC TIME BUT BEVER COURIER IS COMING IN THAT TIME!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOUNG DRINKING YOUR FRAPPE ON A LUNCH TIME I AM SHURE?!!!!!

Waiting by the phone over than 10 minutes and still got no answer....
Horrible Horrible customer service for such a brand name called DHL....

Horrible experience. The package arrived in Cyprus from Germany the following day of ordering then was scheduled for delivery the day after and it never arrived. Then the tracking said "I changed the delivery date because I was on vacation" (I never did!!!!). I had three conversations with three different people from their call centre who all gave me different versions of what would happen to my package! They then claimed they would deliver on a Saturday (which they don't normally do) because they could not keep up with the amount of orders, and of course they did not deliver, my package was left there so I went to pick it up! If you are paying for express delivery what is the point of receiving the package a week later? If you cannot handle that amount of orders then do not accept them in the first place.
This is the second time they have changed my delivery date to the day before the planned date without at least giving me a message the day before so that I can't plan my day and meet the courier. The courier does not call in advance to inform me of his arrival (only call when he have already arrived at the address). Overall, the communication experience with the courier was negative and rude.
The package arrived since last week and they have not delivered yet. They declared an address problem because there was no apartment number. I do not live in an apartment!
The drivers have no desire to do their job and are extremely unreliable!
You wait at home all day, the driver calls once and rings twice and then leaves again. No reaction when called back.
This mentality makes you want to puke.
i sent the documents from Paphos to Athens and their service is brilliant. From the service desk by Adriana Ghita who explained to me very clear about the service and answered my question about pick up documents, also rang me when my documents about to arrive in an office in Athens. i can track very easy and communicate very easy by phone nor email. More expensive than other courier but they delivered my documents a day earlier. Very pleased with their service.
