My Portuguese dog really enjoys this food. We tried multiple brands before this and she’d leave most of it in the bowl. It’s also great to be able to choose recipes less likely to cause digestive problems. She suffers from colitis but now with DD food for half her meals and home cooked for the other half she’s hasn’t had a flare up for about 10 months!

It took a while to find the right food…
It took a while to find the right food for my puppy. He refused to eat many, had D&V with others and quite frankly a nightmare every meal time. I discovered different dog quite by chance, initially fed half and half (kibble) but still had diarrhoea, now he’s on purely DD. What a difference, he’s excited to be fed, jumping up as I’m measuring out. The quality, smell and look of the food is second to none, good enough for me to eat. Best choice I’ve made, stool formed, no malodour and he’s happy. Highly recommend.

I thought it was time to put the slow eating bowl away at nearly 12 years old, but might be needed. My dog Millie loves it and it is only day 3. The food and customer service is amazing
The food is amazing, my dog loves it and the customer service is second to none! They are a small business and so you definitely feel like they care about making sure you and your dog have the best experience. I'll continue to use them, the extra expense is 100% worth it. My father-in-law said that the dogs dinner looked better than his when he looked after her for the day!

Finally better allergy control
We’ve spent 12 years battling allergies and terrible skin probs. No difference with any hypoallergenic food in the shops but after a few months on this she seems noticeably better and absolutely loves it.

My dachshund is a fussy eater
My dachshund is such a fussy eater. I was even forced to hand feed her prior to getting your food. I also purchased the Goat Milk topper from you and it’s been a game changer! We now have no problems at all with getting her to eat it and she licks the plate clean every meal time. It’s changed our household meaning no stressful mealtimes. I’m not one for giving reviews but seeing as a small business has worked so hard I think they deserve some credit. Our rescue dog absolutely loves Different Dog and so do we. When we first got our dog we spent every other night cooking meals for him until we realised we could get Different Dog. It’s cheaper than making it ourselves, the ingredients are better and it’s so much more convenient. The hardest thing about it is remembering to take the next one out the freezer.. we can live we that.

My dog Tess is the fussiest eater ever .In 5 years she has rejected her way through a wide range of canine menus and home cooking.

My 6 month old puppy is thriving and absolutely loving all the different recipes! The tail wagging and excitement at meal times is lovely to see! We’ve had a really positive experience…
We’ve had a really positive experience with Different Dog so far. You can tell the food is made with real, good-quality ingredients, and I love the idea of freshly cooked meals for my dog.
Max is quite a picky eater, so not every recipe was a hit for him at first – for example, the Shepherd’s Pie with mint definitely wasn’t his favourite, and the pork ragu with cranberry was also a bit too adventurous for his taste. But that’s more about Max being fussy than the food itself! The great thing is that it’s very easy to swap meals and adjust the menu to what suits him best, which I really appreciate.
It’s also all very new for Max, so we’re still discovering which flavours he loves most. Overall, I’m really happy with the flexibility, the quality of the food, and the care behind the brand. It feels good knowing I’m feeding my dog something wholesome and thoughtfully prepared.
Thank you for making such a great product – we’re excited to keep exploring the menu and find Max’s favourites! 🐾💛

Six weeks of Severe Pancreatis / Diarrhea Gone in 72 hours
Our 10-year-old German Shepherd was suffering repeated bouts of acute/severe pancreatis. We made repeated trips to the vet, prescribing diarrhea tablets, stool tests, special 'gentle digestive' dried food (we fed her Eukanuba German Shepherd) and finally home cooked chicken / rice. Nothing worked, the diarrhea became worse, and a very sweet natured dog became anxious, we had not slept all night for about 6 weeks. Whilst our vets have been incredibly supportive; I felt that investigating diet/digestion was a possible solution (we had rescued Misty as a 7-month-old, she had been abused and had severe anorexia). I found a trust pilot review from an owner whose dog had Pancreatis and that Different Dog had changed their life. With 4.9 customer satisfaction and excellent reviews (& excellent customer service team) I selected the low-fat fish and the low-fat turkey meals. Delivery was swift via DPD, they come frozen therefore one pack requires defrosting as one pack is being used.
To use the brand - I really do have a 'Different Dog' - it took about 72 hours for the diarrhea to stop. Her stools are firmer & less frequent than on her dried food. Drinking what seemed excessive amounts of water was not uncommon on her dried food, now it is a drink. She suffers with arthritis in her back legs, whilst this still causes her discomfort, she appears much livelier and definitely much brighter.
I am a huge fan of 'Different Dog', it really did change our lives and her 'Different Dog' dance at mealtimes is so funny, she gets so excited!

We’re absolutely delighted to hear that the low-fat fish and turkey meals have made such a difference for her, especially that her digestion settled so quickly and that she’s feeling brighter and more comfortable overall. Hearing that her stools are firmer, her drinking has normalised, and that she’s showing more of her personality again is exactly why we do what we do. And the “Different Dog dance” at mealtimes made us all smile, that excitement never gets old.

Positive change
I have noticed a massive (and positive) change in my dog since introducing Different Dog to her diet. She went from being a reluctant eater (with a bit of a sensitive stomach) to a very eager eater. She loves all the recipes, with Chicken Casserole being a firm favourite. Very straightforward ordering/ delivery and great costumer service. I am really pleased with my experience overall.
