The customer experience with Mr. Frausing is definitely not a nice one... We had an agreement to fix two cars over two weeks - VW Sharan and Peugeot 607. The day Mr. Frausing came to us with the cars, he immediately complained about why are we so expensive!!! This seemed to be strange because we didn't check his cars yet, nor proposed him any prices apart from the ones he got via email. Having him coming down here would indicate that he was satisfied with the prices enough to make a trip to Polen. Yet the story was different... After few days he asked us if we could have one of the cars driveable for the weekend, so he could take a trip. We had one of our mechanics to work overtime to have Peugeot functional till Friday. Mr. Frausing came in the afternoon, directed his first steps to inspect the windshield and immediately complained about ca. 5cm crack on the left bottom corner of the window. We have talked with mechanic which fixed the car if that had anything to do with his work and checked cameras footage. There were no signs which could indicate that this crack was made in our workshop. Mr. Frausing had no interest in this, we were to blame and no arguments were to convince him... We have decided to replace the window gratis, because sometimes it’s better to loose some profit in return for satisfied customer. Unfortunately that was pointless effort because complaints from Mr. Frausing continued, despite flawless job that was carried out on both of his cars (including diagnosis and repair of rather difficult problem with camshaft on Sharan which saved him a lot of unnecessary repairs which might have been undertaken by other workshops in order to find the source of the problem) and precise information about any prices, for him to confirm, before any repairs were carried out… One of the things Mr. Frausing also complained about was the glow plugs – every workshop in the world can confirm that replacement of glow plugs is not an operation which can be simply estimated. If the glow plugs can be screwed out and screwed in easily then it’s no problem, but very often they get stuck and the only solution is to drill them out which is difficult operation requiring sophisticated equipment and proper knowledge in order not to damage anything during de-installation. During week 2. we have explained to Mr. Frausing that assuming list of jobs that has been carried out on his cars and list of things which are still to be done he will have to decide if he wants to fix the AC on Sharan or fix the floor because there is not enough time to do both. Mr. Frausing informed us on Tuesday that according to him repair of AC should not take more than half a day (interesting evaluation, not knowing the source of problem), so he took the car and drove to another workshop. He was back with the car 3 days later with fixed AC and floor which was still not repaired. In the end, when he was about to pay for the repairs, he started to threaten with TV, lawyers, damaging our reputation on internet forums etc. if we would not reduce the total price. Really really bad way to get a discount Mr. Frausing…
