The thing about the Pact and the swapping of Scott Free and Orion is that it’s not really about nature vs. nurture. It’s about how when people are caught in the crossfire between good and evil, good wins out. Regardless of where they come from and where they were raised, when faced with a choice between good and evil, both Scott Free and Orion choose good.

I mean it’s a trauma they share but you’d have to never read a comic with Orion in it to skip over the fact that ORION HATES AND FEARS BECOMING LIKE DARKSEID.
