Hey! So fun question for you: What kind of flower do you think each of the sonic characters are? (including aurora, cc, and sage ofc) <333
Oh my gosh, this was a ton of fun. Hope you enjoy what I came up with!
Sonic: Dandelions - Vibrant, sturdy and synonymous with the wind!
ALTAmy: She has to be a Rose, that’s literally her name! Beautiful and a symbol of love, but also equipped with thorns, these pretties fight back! Though to be completely honest, Peonies also remind me of Amy.
ALTTails: Galanthus Wendy’s Gold - Small but resilient and they look like his namesake to me.
ALTKnuckles: Claret Cup Cactus - Super spiny and abrasive, but absolutely gorgeous if given the chance to bloom. (Also, these are part of the hedgehog cactus family. Not quite an echidna, but Knuckles is part of Sonic’s family so it counts in my book 😉 )
ALTShadow: London Heart Lilies or Nightrider Lilies - Dramatic and gothic. Beautiful but also a little eerie.

ALTThough I was also inclined to go with flowers that are a little more ‘alien-looking,’ since Shadow was bioengineered from alien DNA, so something like a variation of Iris or Black Bat Flower

ALTRouge: Orchids - Very luxurious, beautiful and sensual.
ALTSage: I’m gonna avoid the obvious choice and go with Poppy - Cute, can be beneficial or harmful, come in red or blue varieties, and they look like the flowers on Kronos Island, where we were first introduced to Sage!

ALTAurora: I’d love to go with a glowing flower but seeing as those don’t naturally occur, I’m going to go with the Butterfly Bush (Buddleja). Even though the flowers are super small, they’re vibrant and sweet (butterflies love them!). They symbolize new beginnings.
ALTCC: Echeveria - Modest but elegant gray/blue succulents that can endure some pretty harsh conditions. When they bloom, they grow an adorable little stalk much like CC’s antenna/cowlick!

“What do you want for Christmas?”
CC replayed the audio clip again in hopes it would spark a solution, to no avail. Normally, she could answer any query her lab-partner-turned-life-partner presented to her, but for the first time, Tails had her completely stumped.
After all, apart from Tails’ affection there was only one thing she desired; something that couldn’t be purchased or crafted. So when “The Team” floated the idea of meeting up to check out the holiday marketplace as a group, she immediately cleared her and Tails’ calendar so they could attend. This would be the perfect opportunity to study the art of gift-giving and hopefully spark some inspiration.

Story Teaser: Tails surprises CC with an impromptu getaway... but will their mode of transportation allow them to depart?
LoveBytes: Come Fly With Me
Tails was standing impatiently in the doorway to CC's and his bedroom, while CC frantically searched through her dresser and closet: “C’mon CC, the point of a spur-of-the-moment getaway is to just GO, and get away!”
CC held up outfit after outfit, trying to decide which ones to bring: “But Tails, Darling… I must pack the proper clothing! In case we are going to the beach… the mountains… a fancy dinner…” She threw a corresponding garment in her travel bag at each suggestion, continuing to look for just the right ensemble.
Tails finally couldn’t wait any longer, gently taking her arm and coaxing her out of the room as she hurriedly closed her bag: “I think you’re all set. You’re gonna LOVE this!”
CC was both excited and inquisitive as they ran towards the door: “So what is our destination? And how are we traveling? The convertible? The SUV? A limousine?”
Tails shook his head: “Where we are going is a surprise! And we’re not taking a car… I thought we’d rely on an old friend to get us there…”
They rushed out the door and across the field aside of their house, arriving in front of Tails’ hangar. The Tornado was parked outside, shiny and prepped for flight. Upon seeing Tails' trusty biplane so prominently displayed (and obviously the 'ride' for their journey), CC suddenly looked highly apprehensive: “Um, Tails… it is very sweet of you to want to pilot us to this mystery location… wherever that may be… but while we are in transit we should relax together…” Her eyes glazed over as she searched the MobiNet: “I have located a luxury jet we can charter for our private use… it can depart within the hour regardless of our destination…”
Tails was surprised at his wife’s suggestion: “It’s no trouble at all! Flying in the open air is amazingly relaxing... nothing beats the feel of the wind in your fur while you’re skimming about the clouds!” He affectionately patted his biplane on the starboard flank: “And this baby glides through the air as smooth as silk… plus you’ve never flown in the Tornado!”
CC still looked nervous: “Yes, well… about that…”
Suddenly the propeller spun several cycles, blowing a black cloud of diesel smoke directly at CC and making a distinctly rude noise:
BRRRAAAAAAPPPP!!!!
Tails' jaw dropped, shocked at what he just saw and heard: “CC… did my plane… just give you… the Raspberry?!?”
CC coughed as the smoke cloud cleared, brushing some of the diesel ash from her fur and outfit: “This is… very awkward…” she sputtered, more than a bit embarrassed. “But allow me to explain: before you and I… were betrothed… I was… quite jealous of you. I may have… had unkind words... with several of your legacy machines… including your biplane…”
The Tornado's propeller spun again and the exhaust huffed, shooting another cloud of smoke at CC.
CC blushed brightly at the aircraft’s continued disdain: “I… perhaps indicated… the Tornado did not do enough… to keep you safe before we met. That the Tornado... allowed you to take… too many chances…”
Tails smiled at CC knowingly and lovingly, giving her a gentle side-hug: “But still here we are... together." The Fox continued, reminiscing: "I was young and adventurous back then. I'll admit I took way too many risks to get done what needed to be done… but that’s how Sonic and I viewed the situations in our younger years.” He patted the plane: “And if anything it was ME who put the Tornado in danger more often than not.” The Tornado returned a contented propeller buzz at Tails’ words as the Fox continued: “I’m just glad I was able to fix the damage…”
CC looked at her husband and his plane appreciatively: “She says there are no hard feelings on her part… at least towards you.”
Tails was surprised at CC’s familiar address of his trusty biplane: “‘She?’ I thought you didn’t want me talking to any other girls!”
“It is… customary that noble vessels such as the Tornado are addressed with feminine pronouns,” responded CC coyly. “And in my… admittedly terse… exchanges with the Tornado I have noted a tendency towards this gender association in her software as well.” CC’s look softened as she continued: “And no, I am no longer jealous of the Tornado. I have come to realize she has a much… different… relationship with you than I do… but no less special.”
The Tornado returned an inquisitive propeller burst at the Robian’s admission, removing some more of the diesel soot from CC’s fur.
CC sighed with resolve: “Yes, Tornado… I forgive you for your outburst. I only hope you can in turn forgive me for my… prior misguided words towards you.”
A longer propeller blast directed towards CC was the biplane’s response, further cleaning CC’s fur and outfit. Once the blade spun down, the plane followed by emitting electronic computation sounds from its onboard AI.
CC was pleasantly surprised at the content of this data burst: “Why, thank you Tornado!” She turned to Tails to explain: “The Tornado has added me as an ‘approved device’ within her firewalls. We can now freely communicate while we travel to our destination!” CC gave the Tornado’s fuselage a tentative but affectionate pat: “I hope to ‘make up for lost time’ and become great friends during our journey!” The Tornado agreed with an appreciative propeller blast and electronic noises, anticipating her rapprochement with CC.
Tails loaded their luggage into the cargo compartment and helped CC into her seat, as the Tornado gently applied the automatic flight harness to ensure CC would stay safely ‘buckled in’ during their journey. Tails completed his pre-flight checklist and hopped into the pilot’s seat, donning his flight goggles and firing up the engine, which hummed melodically. The Tornado buckled him into his seat as they glided down the runaway, smoothly ascending into the skies.
CC grinned broadly as the biplane climbed into the puffy clouds floating overhead, the wind blowing through her synthetic fur: “Oh, Tails… you are correct! This is… most exhilarating!”
“I knew you’d like it, Dearest!” beamed Tails. “Now sit back, relax, and enjoy the view… it’s a little bit of a flight to where we’re going but we’ll be there before you know it!”
The Tornado twittered happily at both Tails and CC, engaging the Robian in pleasant conversation about the Wedding and other recent events, as well as some of the adventures the Plane and Fox shared over the years before CC and he met.
After a couple hours, CC realized they had flown beyond the mainland and were over open water. She keyed her comm link to Tails: “Sweetheart, we are over the Ocean! May I now know where we are going? Somewhere exotic?”
Tails smiled knowingly: “Absolutely! We are headed to fabulous…”

“I most enjoy reading poetry. It requires me to improve upon my literacy skills, as the author’s meaning is often much deeper than the written word appears on the surface. As far as a favorite book, ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (1968)’ by Philip K. Dick is a strong contender.”

“This moral quandary has turned me into the lower portion of a trimmed tree*. There are far too many unknown factors to consider. Would the Formerly Deceased return to the state they were in just before they expired, or would their ‘soul’ re-inhabit their… ‘current’ form? Would they retain the memories—and therefore trauma—of their death? If so, would my resurrecting them do more harm than good? If there is an Afterlife, would my resurrecting them ‘remove’ them from said Afterlife? The ethical dilemmas are limitless!”

However, from my current assessment I can confidently say that I have enjoyed the films ‘Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001),’ ‘Mannequin (1987)’ and ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).’ Ultron’s character model was… aesthetically pleasing.”
