Felps blinks. His dreams must have been more vivid than he thought. He’s pretty sure it’s July by now; but when he looks at Pac, it seems all he can think of is Festa Junina – people laughing, Pac making him twirl to watch his dress spin, the kissing booth… It all feels a bit like he’s in a trance of some kind. Like he never woke up properly.

Maybe he just misses it.

“Felps? You good!”

“Ah! Yes, sorry.” He shakes his head, trying to clear it, and smiles. “How’ve you been?”

Grief isn’t linear, Jaiden finds.

There are times she can’t do anything after losing Bobby. She wants to stay in bed, or sit on the platform in the tree, staring into the distance over the rose fields.

Other times, she feels… okay? She catches herself laughing at someone’s joke, and is almost consumed by guilt. Shouldn’t she be upset, still?

And then another day comes where nothing feels real, and all she wants to do is cry. Those are the bad days.

But she will wait for the storm to clear. She needs to keep watching the sunset, after all.

8. if you had to write a sequel to a fic, you’d write one for…

well I never finished the planned sequel to so raise your glass high and now I’m not into 3rd life enough anymore to do it properly… which is a shame because it would have been fun. I had a title and content picked out and everything (it was gonna be about the battle of dogwarts and titled for tomorrow we die. because y'know. it’s the other half of the lyric)

other than that: I still want to write more in the Fitpac ASOIAF AU Luka and I have been passing back and forth!! it’s so fun and I have a million ideas I just never actually get around to writing them…

13. a fandom you’re thinking about writing for

hm. well none that I don’t already write for I think? I do want to venture more into writing for Ordem but I have already been doing that. just haven’t posted a lot yet. but that’s the only one I can think of for this I think?

I did briefly consider writing about Dark (2017) for a FIAB pinch hit but that pinch hit got picked up before I could finish the show so that’s a different topic altogether. but I was considering it! plus I wouldn’t have been able to write in German for it anyway like I would have wanted to because event rules. but yeah that’s also something I can say for this question I suppose

25. besides writing, what are your other hobbies?

I have talked about this before but ballroom dance!!! :D I haven’t been taking classes for over a year due to complications such as “I didn’t live in the place all my friends who I do dance with do” and “I live back there now but everyone who’s interested in doing classes + matches up with me (in terms of ‘they primarily do following steps and therefore we could dance together’) already has a partner”. but well even if I’m not actively learning anything new we still go out dancing together on occasion and it’s fun <3

30. share a fic you’re especially proud of

obligatory “please please read the tags/author’s note” but this one was good. bit experimental format-wise (second person POV drabble sequence) and I may have been losing my mind a little while writing it (it was like. written in chunks very late at night during the last couple of days of my first ever uni exam season) but I do really really like it. character study of qpac around late summer/autumn of 2023

11. a WIP you’d like to finish someday

there’s this one fic about the post-mike’s-coma tazercraft reunion that I’ve had lying around since like January and I would really love to finish it… it’s just a bit scary to work on because every time I open the doc I go “oh god I can’t post this people will Know” (I don’t know what they will know but they’ll Know). but it is a fic that is very close to my heart. just maybe also so close that it’s scary to consider posting it. you understand…

and also well since I just mentioned it in your askbox I would really love to finish some fic about ballroom dance someday. and the Fitpac one is the furthest I’ve ever gotten into one (actually that one and the one about Cellhalo doing a tango together that I wrote in like. May 2023. based on someone else’s tumblr post. I even planned out an entire choreography for that one. alas. well it’s whatever. I will finish a dancefic someday. trust)
