just thinking about how loki couldn’t have known mobius was looking at sylvie in that moment… how he must’ve just heard mobius whisper “you’re my favorite” and thought it was directed at him… just thinking about it casually, not crying at all…
But we all know Loki is his favorite. I‘m not crying, no
Imagine his reaction when he finds out that mobius said it to Sylvie. Would he go on a “of course I’ll never be good enough to be someones favourite ” spiral . Of course I’m not crying someone is cutting onions

Why does it hurt a little? 🥲
;-; TVA Loki and Mobius <33333
Mobius mention to Loki in Marvel Rivals has me like “even as a Lokius shipper, idc if they’re ‘pals’ i just need to see them together again.”
I’ll literally forgive marvel (somewhat) if they give us a friend-reunion; thats literally all i need (its canon in my head anyway so they cant do nothing about that)
DUDE it’s Deadpool who calls Mobius his “pal”!
OMG GUESS WHO CANT READ
DID LOKI REPLY
Here! 😆😆
SOBBING Deadpool references Mobius in a new interaction with Loki
WHERE WHAT?

Idk if anyone else has this pet peeve, but one thing that annoys me a lot is when people over exaggerate Loki’s.. medievalness.. for lack of a better word lol.
Like in fanfic and headcanons, people have a tendency to write Loki and Thor as way more rigidly Shakespearean than they actually are. It’s canon in the mcu that Asgardians codeswitch a lot. And a large part of that is acting like dramatic old world figures when they’re surrounded by that atmosphere in Asgard. When they go off-world or start talking to humans, though, that changes immediately.
To hear Thor speaking in Ragnarok, you’d think he grew up in Australia and to see how Loki behaves in the series, you’d think he was just British. They’re very comfortable assimilating with human culture, appearance, and speech patterns. Granted, there is a sliding scale of human-ness depending on the individual characters and the time within canon. Like, the Warriors Three only ever seemed vaguely aware of human cultural norms, and Thor’s clearly grown throughout his time in the mcu. In the first movie, he was fairly clueless (and I’d argue loki was far more in tune with humanity than him from the very beginning). But still.
And I get why it happens. Folks miss when the Thor franchise was super serious and had the Shakespeare vibes so they overdo it a little bit. But I think it’s even more interesting that canonically Asgardians can do both. It’d be pretty unrealistic if the thousand-year-old characters from the realm ruling all others were so out of touch that they had no idea what a computer was.
It’s also just.. not accurate. In the Loki series, we see him using a phone and an elevator. We see that he’s familiar with movie premiers and bureaucratic processes and superstores. We see that he knows how to board a plane and dress stylishly for multiple different time periods- even all the way back in Thor 1. Like, guys, I promise he wouldn’t be confused by indoor plumbing 😭.

I think this will be the last thing I tease from this fic, because otherwise I would have shared too much, I feel.
A few minutes passed in relative stillness and silence, broken only by the occasional shifting and muted sighs from hunters who had been standing alert in one spot for too long. But eventually, Loki came back to himself a little, reaching up to take Mobius’ hand and bringing it to his lips for a moment.
“Thank you,” he murmured against him, the ghost of a breath tickling his skin. “I know I told you not to come, but I’m glad you’re here all the same.”
Despite their grim situation and surroundings, a fond smile tugged at the corners of Mobius’ mouth.
“Where else would I be?” he asked rhetorically. “My beautiful is suffering and scared. Like Hel I’d be anywhere but right by his side.”
Loki had no words, apparently, merely blinking large, wet eyes at him with a doe-like ruefulness. But before getting as far as giving voice to his thoughts, there was a sudden tension spreading around the circle of hunters, those holding temporal aura scanners staring at their screens in shock and dismay.
