Purchase an gas double cooker year ago had many faults with oven turn off every few minutes gas enginee came out couldn’t find fault however I’m still sitting next to oven each time to use it for when the flame goes out to turn it back on just to cook dinner at Christmas year just fine the hob decided to stop working
I have been in contact many times over this and still will not fix this cooker it still has a year on guarantee and they are not bothered about getting an engineer out to come and check it out again I’m left with a faulty cooker can not get the cooker insurance as no insurance would touch these appliances

Zero stars Dishwasher
If I could, I would give Zero stars for the new world dishwasher. Badly laid out, doesn't clean well and no visible indication of when it is finished a cycle. I cannot recommend. Avoid this make, there are better cost effective options. New in January and I'm already looking to replace it

This is a ZERO star review, absolute load of rubbish . Oven less than 1 year old broken and still looks in new condition their engineer said same yet falsifying report saying all.this rubbish that we broke it etc even with photos they are still lying it looks new just doesn't work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Had 2 cookers from this company, both are absolutely crap, don't light, when they do light they go out, absolute trap, never buying any products they sell again, absolute waste of time and money, made to last? NOT, completely useless!!!! Just ripping people off!!!!!
THE worst tumble dryer I ever…
THE worst tumble dryer I ever purchased. Takes forever to dry clothes, even when the drum is only half loaded. Turns clothes inside out and constantly rolls up sheets and duvet covers into a ball. Regret ever buying it and would not buy any other product if this waste of space dryer is an example!

After about a year with very little use...gas wouldn't stay lit inside the oven... guy doing gas safety check said its dangerous and not usable

Gas cooker installed on 5/11/20 and it soon went wrong the oven goes out often leaving me with cold uncooked food (just happened again) so frustrating. Back left burner only gives a very low flame and small grill useless, don't even try to cook anything in the combi oven it simply doesn't work absolutely non efficient. You should be ashamed of yourselves to be selling such low quality useless appliances. Your calendar only goes to 24 so that's wrong. It went wring soon after instalation early 21.
Failure hat trick
Yes, it's my NW701G oven again. Guess what? 9 months after being repaired for a 2nd time, the thermocouple has failed, again.. That's one new part every year. We are moving in a months time, so hopefully not our problem much longer. And no, I won't be buying anything else from New World.

Another “if I could give minus stars I would”!!! SHOCKING!!! Bought a washer three months ago, door seal snapped and wrapped round clothes. Door seals not covered by warranty! Shock horror!! Only one website that sells parts and they want £150 just for the seal nevermind paying someone to fit it!! Customer service non existent, telephone operator couldn’t have cared less!! Machine not fit for purpose

Bought a brand new cooker that leaks gas new world sent out an engineer they said manufactures fault it was leaking from inside the cooker new world give us a up lift number but can’t claim has the company we got of from shut down new world said there’s nothing that can do about it so we are left with a cooker that leaks gas and no way to get a replacement we have always had to chase this up with the company what the point of warranty if there don’t replace there own product and tell to to go back to retailer

New World Will Not Respond
I purchased a New World gas cooker on 21/04/2023 with a 2 year guarantee. From the onset we had problems with the oven keep turning off. 2 weeks ago the oven door dropped off resulting in my wife trying to catch the door & dropped red hot fat on the floor. It was only held on by mastic glue attached to the hinge. I have contacted New World online 2 times. I have also sent an email. Not once have they bothered to reply to me. I can't phone as I am profoundly deaf. We have now been put in a position to buy a new cooker. Shame on New World for treating your customers like this.
Worst company, avoid at all cost !
My 8 month old new world electric cooker stopped working mid cooking due to the fan motor breaking. It's been just over 3 weeks and I've still got no further with it being fixed. The only reason I've given 1 star is because it doesn't allow 0 stars, so I suppose the only good thing I can say about the customer service from New World is that they did call me back the day after I filled in the online form about needing a repair. From them it went down hill. Nearly every day I've called them back to be greeted with the same 3 people who all fob me with the same line...that someone will call me back with an appointment slot. Definitely by the end of the day. The end of the day comes and goes and suprise suprise still no phone call. Apparently now my case has been forwarded to the 'managing director' whome ever that may be. I've emailed the address given in a few of the responses to others reviews but have then been told there is no history of me even requesting a repair ! If this god awful company doesn't want to follow up with repairs, why give a 2 year warranty with its appliances ? I wouldn't be so peed off if it was just me I needed to feed, I could make do, but I have a 7 year old too. God knows what I'd do if I had more mouthes to feed.
It's a whole NEW WORLD not!
If a product has a fault that has to be replaced just after the first year of a two year warranty, yet fails again within the month after the warranty cover expires, although the part replaced is less than 8 months old when it goes again I'd say I made a bad judgement going for a cheaper product without reading the reviews. The expected response to my dilemma from their customer service doesn't fail to surprise me when no return to my online request after two weeks and the call with their customer service came from a lady with a short,sharp, abrupt attitude that I can only surmise she deals with many a issue like mine and the "nowt we can do about it as passed warranty" tells me . DO NOT BUY A NEWWORLD COOKER AGAIN as you get what you paid for... poor quality all round.

Awarded less than 1 star. Phoned Argos as cooker still within 2 year guarantee, advised to call New World. Told by them it was an issue for Argos to sort out. Called Argos again and told it was down to New World. Called New World a second time to be told the excessive heat escaping from both doors, causing the knobs to overheat and the surrounding paintwork to bubble was not covered but they could send out an engineer if we pay the call out charge to replace the seal, which as far as we can tell is not damaged. We consider it a design fault. Do not buy New World and, be warned if you do, the ‘guarantee’ covers very little.

If I could rate this company lower than 1 star I would. After reporting a faulty new range cooker their customer service department was absolutely awful. The woman I spoke to definitely needs a refresher training sessions as unhelpful would be an understatement. Despite the appliance being new and their engineer saying it was faulty they refuse to address the issue. I have been left with a cooker that would fail health and safety measures. The control knobs heat up to the point my elderly mother has suffered burns to her hands. Shoddy company, avoid at all costs.
Poor customer service
My New World cooker is old , so cant really complain about that , However Engineers to come out to have a look when its broken is another matter . For some strange reason there is a shortgage of engineers , they are off sick , finally got a date and guess what , engineer has gone sick , Think HR should be investigating the number of sick days with the engineers or perhaps the ones that actually do go to work are sick and tired of covering for absent colleagues , either way its poor customer service . I have been without a cooker now for nesrly 3 weeks and its costing a fortune just using gas top and microwave , cant make a decent meal really without oven . trying to becreative in cooking meals is really frustrating, as well as given no time frame for appointments so my dad has to sit in the house all day . they dont ring until 10 am to tell you a 2 hour time slot , so dad cant do anything sitting around waiting for a text . Poor customer service
Bought a New World 7KG Vented Tumble…
Bought a New World 7KG Vented Tumble Dryer & it’s the worst purchase I’ve ever brought.
It’s takes hours & hours to dry clothes & it’s always getting tangled so dry I’m some places & still wet in others.
The fluff vent is at the back of the dryer & is a pain to get to & open to clean.
Do not buy this product, would give ot 0 Stars if I could

Bought a new world dryer from Argos in November 2021. Reported a problem with it in January 2023 took until April 2023 to get it repaired. Broke again on the first week of December 2023. Rang and was told it was out of warranty. Tried to explain that had the machine been repaired promptly when it first broke then the issue I have now would have occurred 3 months ago and that the machine would have still been under warramty. My advice to anyone thinking of buying is don't. Only giving 1 star as not possible to give none
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, range oven bought in January 22 hob stopped working in August 23 … called to report , had to send proof of purchase, engineer came out and stated the fault was due to terminal box and poor installation, paid for a new terminal box and installation and still the job didn’t work …. Called the company frequently to be told another repair would be arranged but then call after call told different things , promised call backs that never happen no hon since August 2023 !!!! Do not buy from this firm they treat customers terribly

I see in reviews that many people are facing the same situation with there warranty. In ours Newworld sent out engineer to see our broken dryer.
After engineer disappears and now its 3 months we calling them every week both engineer and customer service.
They wash eachother hands they say we waiting for part for 2 months than He lost the part and now we waiting for another one.
I think its a scam a fraud which affects countless families, disables them for who knows how long.
I decided to turn to the authorities with this matter because this is unacceptable.
