Great products, great price.

Thickening Hair Clay I have been using this product for about a month. I have found the product to add volume and control to my hair. My hair style is long and find the clay can be used to style my hair later in day as well my hair feels good and greasy.

Very happy with their products and pricing in the six month subscription. they also have a very generous free gift promotion too.

I have been using the Thickening Hair Clay for the past 2 weeks. It’s brilliant and none greasy and holds my style all day whilst allowing me to re style and not look flat.
My hair feels thicker and fuller so I’m really impressed. Definitely recommend!

I was 34 when I started using Sons due to early hair loss around the front and crown. My hair was also visibly thinner overall.

1–3 Months

As expected, I experienced increased hair loss, which they class as “shedding.”

3–6 Months

I saw visible growth and thickening. I was genuinely impressed with how quickly I noticed results.

6–12 Months

This was the peak period for me. I had the best growth and volume I’d seen in the last four years. I was really pleased at this stage.

12–24 Months

There were no drastic improvements, but I also didn’t experience further loss, which was reassuring. Sons advised that I may have reached the peak results and recommended continuing to prevent further hair loss.

2–4 Years

This is where my experience declined. I gradually started losing the growth and volume I had gained. Now, my hair appears similar to how it was before I started the treatment — despite continuing with the full package (Shampoo, Biotin, Minoxidil, Finasteride, and Hair Clay) consistently.

In summary, the product worked well for me during the first 12 months, but results declined over time. Of course, this may vary from person to person.

Customer Support & Service

Unfortunately, this is where my experience was particularly disappointing.

As a loyal customer who referred 9 friends (all of whom purchased the full package), I expected better support. After cancelling my subscription, another 6-month supply was sent out without notice. I only caught this after noticing the charge on my bank statement. I then had to contact them to cancel and request my right to erasure to ensure no further orders were processed.

Response times were also poor — sometimes taking weeks. Calling their support line was frustrating; the automated message states “all our agents are busy” and then disconnects the call with no option to hold. I tried multiple times over two weeks before eventually receiving an email response.

More recently, after placing an order in December 2025 and raising concerns about declining results, I was told I could not return the tablets or spray. I was only offered a refund of around £18 for returning 6 hair clays, despite the total order being over £160.

Final Thoughts

The treatment initially worked well for me, but the results didn’t sustain long term. Combined with the customer service issues, this has left me disappointed overall.

I haven’t given up on medication, but I will be trying a competitor next to see if both the product and service offer a better long-term experience.

The best hair product I have used to date! I use the thickening hair clay and it’s brilliant! The way it styles my hair is unlike any products I have used before, it strengths and makes my hair look more full!

I have been using Thickening Hair Clay for a couple of days and I like the result so far! If you apply it on wet hair, you'll get a very natural and fresh looking hairstyle. Will keep using it, it's nice to have a product that targets the strenght of your hair.

The thickening hair clay leave a great shine and hold without feeling too greasy. It's got a nice consistency and easy to style and gave hair a nice texture.

This is more or a review of the customer services interface. I have been using the Minoxidil and finasteride spray at the not so cheap £186 for 3 sprays under the 6 month subscription for the last 18 months. I found that I still had a reasonable amount of product and so wanted to delay/stop the automatic charge and delivery. Here is where the issue gets complicated. There isn't any reminder sent out before Sons takes the next payment (£186). If you wanted to suspend the delivery you have to set your own reminder and there is NO flex on this. Try contacting them directly on the phone number and you will be directed to the email option which of course, won't be answered within the 24 hrs that you need to delay/cancel delivery. The process is set up to catch you out and get the next payment. The product is easy to use and I will have a 6 month period of assessment as my transplant was a great success and I need to see whether I benefit from additional products. It's a shame companies have to behave this way. Good customer service is my measure on how good a company is. Sons falls well short. Similar products are available elsewhere and can be obtained without the subscription scam policy. Shame.

I started using the thickening clay recently and within three weeks noticed improvement in my overall hair condition. My hair feels healthier and better, and styling wise it’s a good clay for every day sharp look. Highly recommend it! Well done guys.

Easy transaction, every step is easy and no trouble at all

Been using the thickening hair clay for a week now, smells great, styles great and with the added bonus of thickening my hair. Can’t wait to continue using the product.

I have been using Sons products for over 18 months. Despite what they claim, I saw no improement in my hair growth. £200 per 6 months - not recommended. A complete waste of money, so now looking at the hair transport route. Disappointed

I have been using Sons products for about six months and they have genuinely revived my hair. I could not recommend Sons more. The prices are great and the products actually work. The customer service team has also been very helpful especially in the early stages of my treatment. They answered all my questions and were very supportive. I cannot praise Sons highly enough. Great products and a great brand.

Having only recently grown my hair back in I’ve been looking for a product that doesn’t make it look thin. The Thickening Hair Clay is absolutely brilliant.

A small amount goes a long way. Not only does it look great when initially put in, you can easily restyle it throughout the day without the need for reapplication.

Been using the Sons Thickening Hair Clay for a bit recently and it’s solid. Adds noticeable volume and thickness without feeling greasy or heavy, and it’s quick to style with for everyday use. Hold is natural and lasts well through the day. Would recommend. :)
