okay so from my experience it went two ways
number one is through an employment agency
basically i went there they made a copy of my id and money card and then searched jobs for me got me interviews that got me hired
number two is just to email the local supermarket asking if they have a need for new staff which has also resulted in me getting work after a little interview
i have also walked into places and asked but they didnt need any new staff but that might work as well
