okay so technically i think the real name irl is pronounced similarly to how Seele pronounces it in HSR (zeal-uh)
but personally i pronounce her name like they do in the HI3 dubs (say-lay) when i’m talking about HI3 Seele, but i pronounce it like zeal-uh when i’m talking about HSR Seele
Just wanna add a funny story
Back then, before people called other “Seele” Veliona, to give her a more similar sounding name some people called her Xier (See-er) based on the Chinese pronunciation, and Seele as Seele (Seh-lay) based on the Japanese.
And also, I’ve been into Honkai for over 3 years and I still switch between pronunciations all the time lmao. I play HI3rd in in CN dub so I normally say Xier, and sometimes say Seh-lay, but also sometimes just Si-ehl.
If you want just one concrete way to say her name though, there’s always this XDD
