why are boomers always making those "i hate my wife" jokes like a relative asked my mom and dad (cause today is their anniversary as well) if its been 28 years of bliss or horror. idk if anyone asked that to me and my gf id want to knock their teeth out but my mom and dad laugh it off and encourage the joke??? Like the age jokes are alright to mingle (like saying theyre younger than they are as a form of flattery or them joking about them being younger than they are) but i do not get the boomer i hate my wife jokes honest to goodness.
